We can't even see the identifying factors, such as the gill attachment, spore print, etc. We don't know where you're at, the weather there, what you found them growing on - basically nothing. Even if we had all that stuff, those are too old to give a proper ID. Throw them away. If somebody ate them, call 911 immediately.
Because you have no idea what they are. I'm not an expert in picking, but lost seems to know his shit. If he says not to eat a mushroom, I wouldn't eat it. Some of them can kill you.
those pics are incunclusive, but interesting. go back to where you found them, pic another, and make a spore print, then show us a pic of the print.
iv talked to alot of people who know about them and im 99% sure they're cyanescens.... going to make tea with them and some liberty caps and try a small bit
this is a bad idea. did u talk to people who know about picking them and identifying them from the wild, or people who are teenagers who know about buying them and eating them? also what color are the spores?
everyone i know picks their own mushys and are quite experienced. also have been using this http://www.rogersmushrooms.com/gallery/DisplayBlock~bid~6704~gid~.asp
i would just have to suggest learning and using the proper collection and identification procedures if your serious about doing this. u do realize that there are many galerinas that look identical except for the spores as cyanscens
yeah...i know my stuff when it comes to the good mushrooms but im a bit sketchy at identifying the bad ones...im giving a sample of it to my uncle whos able to test it and find out exactly what it is
of u cant tell good from bad you dont know shot good shrooms can look absolutely identicle to ones that can kell you..without a spore print u cannnot tell good from bad u can inly tell whgat looks simular to one u knew was good that dont tell u nuthin it still could kill u and some tak,e weeks to kill u migbht not know anuythings wrong fior weeks then die suddenly dont screw around pickin shrooms unless u are a complete expert ..i mean u know every type of shroomand exactly how to tell 1 from another or play russion roullette with your life for a high... is it worth it? death brurrial or hell eben if u dsurvive and just have a huge hospitol bill aint worth savin a few bucks its safer to just buy em
yeah, there arnt any lethal mushrooms in south-west ireland...the only ones you can really pick here are liberty caps...in a few places theres amanita muscaria and cyanescens though. There are still some very poisnous ones so you still have to be careful. I dont go picking by myself either....i always go with someone experienced
Very badly spelled (did you find some cyanescens yourself? ) but 100% right. Do not eat these mushrooms. Don't eat a cap, don't eat a stem, don't eat so much as a single gill. You just simply do not have enough info on them to ID them correctly. As soaringeagle said, the difference between life & death might be a spore print, which YOU CAN'T GET NOW. Just toss them. It's really not worth it. I know you're excited, but don't risk your life to get high.
galerina autumnalis can look just like that, but iff you are 99% sure about good ones and not so good about bad ones I say go ahead, if you are seized by the amatoxins it's probably a good thing, one less schmuck fowling up the gene pool.
