i started my dreds on the 16th of augest and since then theyve been reall good ..at first losta loose hairs now they finding were there ment to go. iv got curly hair and the top has stayed curly the bottom (coz there thicker and longer) are a bit more straiter.iv noticed after every wash that they are locking up tigher and tighter and getting hardish, i read thats ment to happen but i didnt no so soon, is it normal? also will they stay curly as i really love it ?
yeah just leave them alone and you'll have beautiful curly locks they get hard, it's normal it's like god's helmet
define hard..they should get solid byut remain flexible and have a lil squishiness when squeezed if the are harder then that might mean a buildup of wax or something but if u just mean becomming more solid then theyre just msaturing fast
yer there still flexible just hard as in the hairs feel like there locking really well and becomming dreads quick...haha deff no wax here, yukko

he has thread wrapped around em too, i always thought it was unecasary and probably harmful but i never aid anything to him about it
