I've heard so many stories about people having extreme adventures while tripping. Where you're in like a completely different world and interacting with people who aren't there. This is usually how its portrayed in movies and television as well but I've tripped a good amount of times and have have never had a trip that intense.

When people talk about this, are they just bullshitting their trip?

some people might be bs'ing, others have deeper trips and have more interaction with mystical realms. each trip is different and each tripper is different. lsd shows you a door but doesn't push you through it

If you're alone, comfortable, and practice breathing exercises & let your mind wander, some interesting things can happen on rather low doses of acid.

The benefit here is that you can snap yourself out of it if you want to (probably not likely on a super-big dose).

There is much disagreement in the acid using community about how far this can go, and people (Hollywood included) often have to resort to exaggeration in order to relate the intensity of an experience.

2 hits of strong acid will likely bring some points where you'll either have to let go or resist the effects. Letting go can be unpredictable and profound (contact with divine entities, helicopter blades pleasantly slicing through you, etc.) Resisting can just be a little awkward or maybe worse. Thoughts?

I have been on acid where i believed i was an alien sent to observe the humans NO REALLY believed it. I have had converstaions with chairs, a leaf, a park bench, a bolder, and a coffee cup to name a few. i have seen a friend turn into a leprechan and walked onto a train where all the passengers looked like zombies. I have seen roads made of sparkling rubies and cockeroaches run out of every crack in my apartment. I have seen my girlfriend turn into an old granny infront of me. I have locked myself in a bath room for 7 hours because i thought someone was trying to get me. i have thought a trickle of water was a gushing river and at one point believed i was carrying my head as i walked up the street. just to name a few.

When you exaggerate the effects, it happens every time. [IMG]
But really, this isn't that hard to believe for a big dose.

Pop 30 gravols and you'll have conversations with all kinds of things. Might not be able to walk, see, pee, or swallow though.

Maybe you're especially tolerant and he's especially sensitive. He's not describing anything but distortions and weird thought patterns, so I could see it happening in the right person.

I've sat and talked to inanimate objects while tripping. I didn't think they would talk back, though.
