    Just a quick question -

At the moment I'm washing my dreadies (3 weeks) every 2-3 days, but after I start back at college next week I usually have a shower every morning to help wake me up as my usual wake up time is around 3pm.. just wondering whether this would make any difference to my dreads be it good/bad whatever.

    Thanks :)

I only wash my dreads once or twice a week, but I shower as often as I need to. You can get your dreads wet every day, but I wouldn't recommend washing them with soap/shampoo every day. Why don't you stay on your regular washing schedule (when it comes to shampoo, etc.), and on the other days just get them wet?

Perhaps one of our Dread Gurus will know more, but I don't see anything wrong with taking a shower every day.

i dont got the time to wash mine more then once a week since it takes an hour to wash em and 38 hours to dry..
but if im dirty i take a shower more often and either try ot to get em wet or just give em a quick squirt

yeah, i just put mine up when i am taking a shower (other than my weekly wash) and keep 'em dry, cause it's a pain to dry them all the time, and if you put them up or something while they're wet they might get moldy. EW!!!

    what others said^

just because you only wash your dreads twice a week doesn't mean you can't shower everyday

i wash mine daily because i have a pretty dirty job. ive had them about 3 months and it doesnt seem to be hindering them much... they arent falling apart thats for sure... but they still have a ways to go seeing as they're still young :)
