So I have a pet parrot at my parents' house, and they want me to take care of the bird at my place while they are gone for a week or so. I know that parrots are very sensitive to things (cooking with teflon coated pans can kill them) so I was wondering if anyone knew if marijuana smoke poses a threat to birds. I tried to search on google but I couldn't find anything. I'd assume it would be fine, just like when people get their cats and dogs high, but I want to make sure that it's not dangerous.

Is it a parrot that talks? It would be hilarious if after your parents got back it started saying things like "Pass it to the left" "Man I'm baked" and "Hey wheres the cookies". Sorry nothing productive to add though.

Yea I love my bird so I won't take any unnecessary risk, but man I'd be curious to see how it acted high!
