just got my first tam

in the mail today, from oshinn! it's sexy, i like it... it actually (almost) fits! it's a little big, cause my head's just... little. but it's so pretty! and now i'm a proper hippy



oh, and oshinn, if you happen to read this... if i wash it and stick it in the dryer, will it shrink a little, or would that be bad? i just don't want it to swallow my head whole, lol!

yea in the dryer it'll shrink aslot and get all outta shape washers also can dammage em make emstart to fall apart

you can use bobby pins to make sure it doesnt come off too

 

Put a drawstring in it, tie and tuck

 

drawstring works the best by far! And if you can, hand wash it, in a washing machine it may stretch from all the other clothes and come out fluffy! (well that's what I tell my buyers!) It looks really good on you by the way.

 

damn, that is fucking smart! i love it! i might cut one of my elastic headbands, thread it through, and then tie or sew it back together once it's in. that might work!

thanks for the advice... and thanks for saying it looks good on me! i've NEVER ever liked the way any sort of hat looks on me, but i've always wanted to wear them, cause they're mad cool. maybe just not caring if it looks good makes it look rockin, or maybe this is just THE thing for me, lol! either way, i'm lovin' it!

 

while that's a nice idea, it's too much fucking work for me. i have dreads cause i don't wanna do shit to my hair. bobbypins would kill the dreads too... i'd never get the fuckers out!

What an awesome tam! It looks great on you, and might I also say that you look fabulous with a lip ring (I might be biased though, I have a hoop on my lip too. Just the other side). And a somewhat off-topic question, did your lip ring come without a ball, did it fall off, or did you turn it so the ball was in your mouth? If it doesn't have a ball, how do you get it off?

I'm in terrible need of a tam, I'll have to sign up for a credit/debit/bank card soon so I can buy one online. I haven't been able to find any wool ones anywhere.
