Gladrags...finally!

Yess I finally bought my first gladrags, day rags, organic dyed burgundy

I have been lookin at the site for years and never got around to it. Yay

I'd never heard of it before... but after reading your thread I looked for it in google and became interested in... I mean, it looks a bit strange but makes sense... eco-sense, at least. How does it feel? Is it comfortable? Do you need to change them all the time or is it the same as plastic pads?

hahaha. we are a bit preoccupied with menstruation lately.

 

i've never tried glad rags, but can't imagine ever using them. i just don't like the blood to come out of me. it feels icky. but that's just me.

have you ever used a cup, cate? i love my moon cup... so clean and tidy, no mess, no wetness in my pants, no worrying that i'm bleeding all over the place (unless i forget to empty it and go to bed with it full and the suction busts... ugh)...

but yay for you! i like how pretty the glad rags are. if i were to use pads, i would want pretty glad rags too!

 

i just can't cope with the blood NOT coming out. how funny. i felt so DIRTY using tampons and those cups. it was awful.

 

Im with nakedtreehugger on this one. I dont feel right sitting on my own blood and it coming out of me. I feel kinda bad coz the applicators are plastic but the cardoard ones hurt me before and Im not down for my insides being pinched. that sucked.

I have the Diva Cup actually, but it is so painful for me. I can barely put it in or take it out, and it stresses me out trying to do so :tongue: And Im always on edge thinking about this cup in my body....Im alot more at ease with the pads :tongue:

 

well i think it's cool that you figured out what works for you! i just feel so self conscious with the pads. everyone is so different, it's really interesting!

 

i think i'll be trying those pads.
