that video sort of wierded me out. I find north american black guys who go 'yo yo word up' constantly really get on my nerves unless theyre obviously paying themselves out. Your voice has a nice tone but you dont actually make any sense with it, especially about Aristotle.
    who the hell is baby?
I dont get any of it except that you take pride in your rolling (which you talked up way too much), you like the word peace (though all the talk to baby and about doin yo thing.. makes me think that you get into fights when drunk), and you misinterpret ancient philosophy.

sorry for being a dickhead, but the video really pissed me off.

I'm gonna have to agree with Bill on this one. But really when anyone (not just north American black guys) says "yo yo whattup", it sort of bothers me

And Aristotle believed that things were connected through a living destiny, or fate so to say. He did believe there would be some final product (event? thought? etc...) that all things would eventually lead to, however he never states that you can see or sense the trees (and all nature for that matter) within one thing in nature (which is exactly what we are). He realized that they are connected through this fate that seems to affect all things, but I doubt he would go so far as to say anything along the lines of what you did. His ethics followed suit as well, being represented by his ideals of rational/irrational thought. What you said, while it makes sense, seems irrational. (yes all things are connected, I'm not denying that and nor would Aristotle himself)

I'm going to roll another jay and break down your argument real quick.

First, I will drop all pretenses and say: You don't fucking know me.

    How's that for starters?

Again, if you missed it, that was: You don't fucking know me.

I'm letting you get to know me. I'm revealing myself to you. And that's all I can do. But the ego is fragile -- and any upsetting of its natural equillibrium -- may lead to violent, racist outbursts such as yours.

And so, hear my earnest desire. My earnest desire is that in the Courtroom of Disease, that the Mighty Judge Prostate Cancer finds you guilty and hands you the MAXIMUM sentence. Hoe'bote'dat, m'brudda? People need to live and let live. I'm tired of non-laid back motherfuckers impinging on laid back motherfuckers. Relinquish your naivete in assuming that -intelligent- people don't say "Yo," "Word up," and use various other forms of dialect.

You wouldn't understand it. It's Ancient Tongue. It's sacred. That which you disdain is that which I worship.

I'm not gonna say fuck you. I wanna say fuck you, but I'm not going to. I think you have a super-sensitive ego and that, perhaps, something else is really bothering you. I don't know what. It could be anything. It is clear, however, that this -Unknown Source- is what motivated the intrinsic vitriol of your last post.

As for Aristotle, we can reason on him another time; but yes, I have my sources and I'm sure you have yours. We should compare notes.

    Ta ta.

Uhh....nothing he said was racist (and certainly not violent?), he only stated that he doesn't like it when "North American black guys" say "yo yo, whattup" a lot. You're right, he doesn't know you, I don't know you, in fact none of us "know" you, but that's a mighty impressionable first impression. Nothing about the way you spoke was sacred and ancient I can guarantee you that....I myself have never ran in to one intelligent person that speaks like that (that's not to say they don't exist). Granted, there are lots of people like that who smoke and think they are like a prophet or something when in fact they are pretty hypocritical (just look at Tu Pac).

You also never said anything that was directed at Bill's ego, so therefore could not have offset any balance that it may be trying to maintain...hence your talk of an equilibrium leads me to believe you are one of those people who smokes, repeats a bunch of shit they've heard others say along with some of their own shit by distorting the original words (ex. Aristotle) and adds in personal nonsense. I am not judging you, I don't know you (I hate when people do that, especially on a forum), but impressions will always be, and that is the impression I get, could it be false?....yes, could it be true?....yes. Would you admit to it being true if it indeed were....no.

Oh and saying that you want to say fuck you on paper (post), showing it to the individual and not actually saying it to them is virtually the same thing as having said it man.

My sources, are you serious? Obviously my sources are his actual works, Nicomachean Ethics being my personal favorite. So, I'm afraid we don't have to compare notes, rather we can discuss his actual teachings, and therefore his thoughts. Imagine that, what we think about what he thinks and how we both interpret it differently. It can mean any number of things to different individuals, however his opinions were his and not you or I's, so they are pretty universally understood.

Also, you accused Bill as being "racist" and even wished prostate cancer upon him, at least I'm assuming that's what you mean when you said,

So, whose really "haten my brudda?".....

Sounds like you guys need to smoke something, he is just trying to chill out on these forums and your freaking out on him because he's black and says "yo word up" a little bit.

Hahaha...not at all my friend, that's what he claimed Bill did, and I simply defended Bill, because I doubt those were his intentions.

I only originally posted because of that, and because he did indeed distort Aristotle's thoughts. (He's one of my personal favorite philosophers, so I'm sorry for perhaps getting over excited at the mentioning of his work). Then, after he responded to Bill's post in a pretty demeaning manor (ie. wishing prostate cancer upon him) I thought pointing out the fact that he was the one being hostile might stop this nonsense. Honestly, what you do on your own free time is of no concern to me (smoking, saying yo yo wattup, baby and falsely putting words in Aristotle's mouth) so long as you're doing no harm to another person. I'd gladly sit down and smoke a joint with you bro (the el), I'm not trying to say anything about your personal character at all, just pointing some very obvious things out.

    Alright, man.

    You're completely right about me.

I don't know a damn thing about Aristotle, language mechanics, or any of that bullshit.

I'm just a con artist, spewing forth garbage that I've picked up from others along the way. Word up. Ain't nothin' original about me, bro. I have no will to create.

    You're right.

Yeah, you're on the money like a president's face.
