The point of this forum is supposed to allow people to get and give ideas about fashion and crafts. So what are you favorite cold weather garbs, considering its getter ever so much colder. Name your top five outfits/items/things. And! Last but not least, what are your favorite things to do while in your cozies and the weathers turned cold? Mine? 1) I took a pair of big wale navy cords and sewed a red calico fabric onto the bottom like a big cuff... 2) My wool tams and wool scarfs are a favorite during the colder months.. Although, nattylocks are warm in and of themselves. put some color into too. my faves are dark earthy colors.. maroons, dark foresty greens, royal blues, and ambers. browns too. i love fall and winter 3)zip up sweatshirts that are kinda old are a fave.. with a tshirt underneath... or a fluffy sweater (wool and something else mix are cozier.. wool can get scratchy) 4)long patchwork skirts... if you make your own, try patching on both sides like a quilt... or with a heavy fabirc... makes it much warmer.. 5)uggs... i dont know.. they are kinda overkill now, but who in their right mind, even if they do hate the machine, would give up the functionality of the Ugg just to make a point... not me.let them have their uggs is what i say. at least mine arnt pink. my favorite thing to do in winter is drink vino (can you say carlo rosse? bum jug!), snuggle in large cuddle puddles with friends, get toasty in some cozy clothes and frolic in the fog (we're talking california), and shake my ass to some ... *dont make fun of me* phish. also, sex is always a kick. okay, what are your KEEP WARM IDEAS... cheap ideas? lookin good ideas?
I don't really like winter clothes. My favorite time is when I can wear sweaters and jeans and not have to cover them up. I don't own a winter coat. When it is cold enough to have to wear something I have a wrap that I made. You take about 2 yards of fleece fabric. Split it half way up the middle and then hem all the way around. It is warm and toasty. I have one that is lined with fleece also. That is for when it's "fucking" cold out. Also don't own shoes. I hate it when it snows enough that my socks get wet. Winter is definitely not my favorite time of year. Kathi
hiplibby there isnt a damn thing wrong with grooving to Phish!! As for me in the winter...it might sound hickish but i survive by my fucking warm Carhartt jacket.
