I just bought Green Source Multi Vitamins and I was wondering if any of you have tried it and what you think.

I'm afraid I've never even heard of that brand. Sorry.

In general I'm not a big fan of multivitamins. Supplementing your diet with a few minerals you know you don't get enough of on a regular basis is one thing, but a lot of the multi's I've seen have something like 3-400% of all sorts of things that I know my diet is choc-full of anyway!

That being said, I started my son on a children's multivitamin when he was 2 years old because he was in a phase where it was easier to let him eat his mac n cheese and apple for lunch every day that it was to try to fight him. And he is now nearly 13, and still has his multi each morning though I KNOW his diet is varied enough to be "healthy."

I know that probably didn't help at all. I guess my point was - make sure you're not getting too much of some of the minerals that can build up quickly & cause you problems, and then decide for yourself whether you "need" a multi.

A green source is most important, to my diet which is organic and vegetarian(I eat organic cheese(but this topic is greens)). To get my greens I make Green smoothies every day with spirulina and chlorella powder. If anyone wants the ingredience than just pm me. Thier very simple and I feel better than ever. The secret to diet is balance, and with my thirty years experience on this planet, I think any pill or vitamine in a pill is only unbalanced
bull shit. my green smoothies or fresh from the produce isle of any health food store.

    peace
