Is she making some kind of statement by starting her tour in Cardiff?

I think she has done that through out her career.
    It is not anything new.

back in the late 80's, early 90's dance music was the norm - people running about everywhere getting mashed and all. Her music skirted the edge of the genres of the time. However, this is supposed to be house music (of sorts) which these days is a lesser known form of music. Strange

I get your point, but whatever Madge is doing is not anything other than her doing what she has always done. Even if it is skirting the edges of a genre.

Yeah careful with that people do exist past the age of forty and kinda still have a life y'know.

I do agree though that it gets a little tricky displaying ones body as a sexual object past forty, after all one is coming to the point where reproduction ceases to exist as a possibility for a female. One can retain beauty but you need to take care that the signs of ageing aren't displayed and to be honest the more skin you show the more signs of ageing you display.

I mean I am less scared of Madonna than I am of Dame Shirley! I mean muscles that big are scary! Now combine the 2 and put them on old Dame Shirl' *shudders*.

    Yeah, I see your point.
    That is scarey.
Though the increase in size of Dame Shirley's breasts are scarey.
But, not as scarey as large muscles, I have to admit.

Ive got no problem with anyone doing anthing. I also wasnt talking about her body, what I am saying is her new music is rubbish and basically she has missed her audience and the boat in general

wow, I never dreamed there would be so much hate for Madonna on this board.

Is it perhaps because for most of you, she's your parents' generation, whereas Shirl is as old as your grandma - and we all love grandma don't we?
