I gave my hair ANOTHER deep rinse last night, it's super clean this morning. Unfortunatley it would appear that what I thought were dreads forming was actually dirty hair stuck together. Very little has happened, probbably hindered by the state of my hair, its a shame - after 4 months I hoped to be a little further ahead. Still another day, another knot! peace
Ouch that sucks. I feel for ya though as I am only a few weeks in and my 'what would be dreads' have all but untangled/unknotted. From having 36 odd dreads, I seem to have about 15 wannabes hanging on. The rest of my hair is returning to its normal state. So many people on here have said that ya dreads get worse before they get better but I wasn't expecting mine to disappear completely! I really would hate the dissapointment you are goin through as 4 months is a fair time for things to take some kinda shape, ya would think? Hope things turn out ok for ya man.
what can you do? They say it takes a lot of patience, mine will have to hold out a little longer. Least my hair is finally clean!
Not sure really what I should do. I have just left it all sat under a wool hat for the last few days in hope that my hair will eventually lock up itself. Slight problem is that I have a wedding to go to in the next few weeks and if my hair looks like it does at the moment then i'm gonna look a bit shit! Haha.
itll dread faster noiw that its clean keep it clean dont over use the deep cleanse though use bronners more often then the deep cleanse till theyre well formed
cheers Soaringeagle, you have to understand my hair really needed cleaning. It was starting to get me down, now its clean Ill stay on top of it and only use the clense every couple of weeks or so
