Anti-Ocala Gathering

Did someone say there was no such thing as an anti ocala sentiment?

I think that there is plenty of sentiment that could loosely be called anti ocala. I do agree that most folks avoid actually saying "anti ocala", and i would recommend avoiding the term if someone wants their other points to be heard.

 

Don't think of it as a split gathering or an "anti-ocala" gathering, think of is as an addition! Think of it as a different channel on the tv of life. Think of it as an enhancement. Think of it as free belly-button sporting hippies exercising their right to gather where and when the f*#% they want to and you can go play in their yard or not. What's the big deal????? Personally, I like to go play with everyone as long as they play nice.

 

I'm not talking about another gathing in florida... I'm talking about another gathering, at the same time, in another state... usually I've heard states in the west coast proposed as potential sites....

if you think there is no anti-ocala gathering, then you havn't talked to all of the rainbow who refuse to gather in Ocala, but still plan on living in the woods during february...

anyways... it don't matter... maybe I'll just get drunk ;-)

First, Idiot, Treasure Oger has nothing to do with HHB. She would be Cowboy Oger's lady. Second, as the focalizers for the A-Cola gathering are working within the letter of the law on the permit regs, I am quite certain that if endangered species, or any other possible reason, should exist to not use a proposed site in the Apalachacola NF in MARCH, USFS would not aprove a permit for that site. Endngered species are endangered because you can't find them everywhere. I may not trust USFS on every issue, but I will trust them to tell hippies to stay out of an area if an enangered critter lives there.

 

First, I was praising them BOTH for asking....I've met Both Cowboy and Treasure on the land.

Second, I hope all will look BEFORE leaping......

nothing quite like a couch hippie. although i do sit on a couch frequently i do have a minimum of 3 gathering per year, and if i don't make 2 i don't not make atleast 2, and so there ya go, anti ocala sounds great and all, but isn't ocala done because it's FUCKIN cold everywhere else?

 

I feel ya. Family is such a touchy subject now. No armchair/coach quarterbacking here. I've enjoyed , scouted and spent more hours in the Ocala forest than any 3-4 Elders you can pick from Ocala.


PLS..... Next Ocala you can make, You'll def recognize me and say " Oh, my bad". So confusing with "Handles" on these forums. I'll def step out of G-Funk or Kid Village to say "Howdy".

Hmm....After reading all this I'm wondering if it's a good idea to come by myself to this thing when I have no experience of gatherings at all. What do you think?

 

At 16 by my lonesome I hitched to a little party called Woodstock. Stayed for over a week and hitched home. Life IS an adventure.
