Just wanted to share this. My hair is starting to resemble some of the dreadlocks I've seen in photos. Most of it seems to be starting from the tips and working up towards the root. I haven't seen any loops actually disappear yet although I could have sworn I had loops in one that doesn't seem to have loops anymore :)

I backcombed over the 12-13th of July so thats like 6 weeks or so. I can't believe how short of a time that is. I was expecting it to take a while longer before I even saw the beginnings of mature dreads.

Your hair is clearly knotting very well at the tip going towards the root. My hair is doing the opposite. All my roots are tight, damn near all the way to scalp. Almost all my loose hairs come from the middle of the dreads towards the tip. It's great how everyone's hair it's own unique way.

That 1 lone "magical one" is looking nice though at least Quickening... Im sure you will get more..That 1 will be the most special though, like melissabee said..
Its dam cool how its dreading up from the tip like that though, it gives your dread process some uniqueness...
