Got a dog? I'm sleeping with a Rhodesian Ridgeback cuddling my legs. Breed for hunting lions. It's good to sleep with a lionslayer at your feet.
Those dogs are so cute. I have a miniature schnauzer that thinks she is a pitt. She tries to attack any animal she sees other than my mom's shi tzu, and she will bite any human that comes near me if for some reason she doesn't like them. She's a bit slutty with guys so I don't see her as protecting me....but she does hate children. I think the mini schnauzers were bred to kill rats.
i'm currently without a dog, although the last dog i spent substantial time with still lives with my mom. growing up, we had at least 8 at one time or another (never more than 3 at a time)
i have no dogs i love dogs. my moms friends have a bernese mountain dog... SO CUTE! hes a dumbass, but hes a total sweetheart and loves people. we used to have a golden retriever, which was also a super friendly dog (she was like 13 or 14 when she passed away)... my neighbours have a tiny little kickme dog thats so cute.... i think its like a pom chihuaha cross or some shit. never barks, super friendly, just jumps up on you a bit much
Yeah. Brought 'em with you lion hunting. They'd circle and bark to keep the lion at bay while you delivered the shot with your rifle. No lions in here. She's a real gentle dog. Who loves kitties actually.
My dog died almost four years ago. She was a border collie. I still miss her. I had her since I was 11.
only dog I've ever really liked was the german shepherd/coyote mix I had growing up, he was put to sleep in 1995 because of his arthritis.
I agree with you Pressed Rat for there is nothing so special as a Border Collie, especially since they are truly the smartest, loving, loyal and most intuitive of all dogs I have ever known in my life. Keep in mind, that once you are loved by one of them, it is forever and always, and they will be with you each and every day and are simply impossible to forget since they change the very essence of our soul...
my german shepherd kind was the most loyal dog I've ever known. he was my dog, he wasn't anyone else's, he weighed more than me, and listened to me. and he was a really good judge of character.
i have a black cocker spaniel, there's a pic of her on my profile she's a bad tempered bitch but i love her. kinda reminds me of myself. we play fight all the time, she bites me, i bite her, i chase her round the house.
I have two german shepherds, Appolo who's pure white, who's my dads dog. Enya, who's a pure black, who's my mums dog. And I have a doberman Great dane mix named Justice whos my dog.
We have a little Bichon Frise. I don't know what they were bred to do. He just wants love all the time. He is very cool. Peace
As soon as I overcome my fear of dogs, I'm getting a nice Bosnian and Herzegovinian Shepherd Dog --> Badass
I have a pyranese mix and a lab/terrier mix. Pound puppies. They are wonderful dogs. They're banished to the garage right now....fleas
I am at my parents' place today and last night. I was lounging in the holy lazy-boy chair last night, my dog hopped up on me, stretched his whole body out, and fell asleep on me with his soft and warm head on my chest. I wrapped him up in a blanket. Hee hee, he's not even a small dog. He's a brittany spaniel, so he's a mid-size dog. But oh so precious and adorable. This morning I took him for a car ride in my back seat to pick up some drugs for my mom. I've got an old Hudson's Bay wool blanket in the backseat to cover my car up from his fur, so he got his jollies this morning. I also took him for a run around the house this morning as I watered all the flowers. He is such a good dog. I found a carcinoma on his thyroid and he wasn't expected to live this long. I'm so glad that he's still happy and lively as ever. I am not a dog person per se, but I've bonded with this dog so much. He's the kind of dog that is loyal to me, that listens to me and pays me attention over my siblings. He'll come to me for comfort and it's so adorable. I love my dog.
