seizures??? From Lortab??? I don't think so... Maybe liver damage, or respiratory depression, severe constipation, or upset stomach, but not seizures.
Do some more drugs damnit! your too hyper... And back on topic (disregard this if youve ever done this, but.....) if you have a handful of tabs jus lying around, do an extraction. it seems like it would be better for ye ole liver.
Hmmm, the site definately lists seizures as a symptom of overdose, but in nine and a half years of pharmacy, and over 750,000 scripts filled, I have never, ever heard of seizures from lortab. Very interesting, though. I will check out the official literature on Monday at work.
I thought siezures could be caused by an extreme overdose of Acetometaphin? I could be wrong, but thats what i *thought*
OVERDOSAGE Following an acute overdosage, toxicity may result from hydrocodone or acetaminophen. Signs and Symptoms: Hydrocodone: Serious overdose with hydrocodone is characterized by respiratory depression (a decrease in respiratory rate and/or tidal volume, Cheyne-Stokes respiration, cyanosis), extreme somnolence progressing to stupor or coma, skeletal muscle flaccidity, cold and clammy skin, and sometimes bradycardia and hypotension. In severe overdosage, apnea, circulatory collapse, cardiac arrest and death may occur. Acetaminophen: In acetaminophen overdosage, dose-dependent, potentially fatal hepatic necrosis is the most serious adverse effect. Renal tubular necrosis, hypoglycemic coma, and thrombocytopenia may also occur. Early symptoms following a potentially hepatotoxic overdose may include: nausea, vomiting, diaphoresis and general malaise. Clinical and laboratory evidence of hepatic toxicity may not be apparent until 48 to 72 hours post-ingestion. In adults, hepatic toxicity has rarely been reported with acute overdoses of less than 10 grams, or fatalities with less than 15 grams.
Interesting... I get a small script of vicodin 5/500 each month and I never do more than 4 at a time because of the acetominophen content (I have hepatitis C also but my liver's in relatively good shape). I have not tried to do an extraction, guess I'm kinda afraid of losing the hydro and I don't get enough to waste any. I'ld really like to do moe than 20 mg of hydro, I've been doing that much for a long time now. Four tabs is 2 grams of acetominophen, according to what you just posted I probably wouldn't do myself in if I were to take say 6 tabs at a time?? (This isn't exactly the kind of question I could ask my Dr - he'ld yank my script away so fast my head would spin <grin>). Lisakc
dude just do a cold water extraction, if you have liver problems don't risk it, just do the extraction so you can take more than 20 mg's 20 is good but i like it up around 30-40, but im also somewhat tolerant.

http://www.geocities.com/sowildaboutharry/extraction.html you can either use the resulting liquid or, i like to put it in a small glass bowl, then put it on one of those coffee warmers/candle melter things, and let it sit for well until all the water is gone, you usually want to take it off when there is just a tiny bit of water left, so it doesn't burn, then evaporate the rest off with a hairdryer, scrape out all the crystals and and have fun, snort swallow whatever. Never have tried the rectal insertion as the link above suggests. and never will.
