Beware this year as it's already started. New Rules ordered by President Shrub are in progress. Orders are to remove 50,000 people per state to build the War machines till. Those under 50 years of age will be targeted. Yes, you may know of several who have already lost all their Benefits. The Reason's for terminating your benefits are as follows.....

* There are so many new Medications....You can be cured
* Disability people working (Even with a SSA Job Ticket!!) {SSA is also filming at the Flea Markets etc}
* Photographing people "Gathering" (If you can haul 200lbs of supplies in the woods, help a Kitchen, etc. ...you can work)
* Online chatting, etc. (If you can type for Hours in a chat room/Newsgroup {hah AGR'ers}...YOU CAN WORK) -Lookout Whistler & You!-

How can you get away from babylon when you are sucking on her tit. If you are working kicthens at a gathering or doing flea markets or even using the internet then you probly are with it enough to work. They should take away SSI from more people, seems like every one I know who gets it really dont deserve it. They claim crazy to get a check when really they are just lazy. It makes me sick to know that i have to struggle to do whats right for my family, and i work hard to support them, just to have some bozo sit around waiting for his check. I think there needs to be some reforms . If a person truly needs the help it should be there for them. But the crap that Im an alcoholic,or I am a drug addict i cant work, thats wrong. You can work and be a part of society, or if you are against it then go and be by your self, but dont sponge off of it. To me people who get these checks are the drainbows of society.

I think its pretty fucket up to say people who collect checks are drainbows if they get it that means some one assesed them and decided that they needed it , i know people who really needed it and get rejected. its not there falt for trying its the aprovers responsability...my old man gets a check and he really needs it .a doctor told him to aply for ssi or he would commit him..and yes he works his ass off at rainbow because he has love in his heart that makes him push himself untill he is physicly and mentally drained. he is mentally ill and conot hold a job for more than a month wich is about how long he works himself to death for familly. so just because you can haul shit at a gathering doesn't mean you can function in the same way in babylon

 

lol!please.....i'd encourage everyone to go out and get checks right away.the faster this government tumbles the better off we will be.its not my fault or problem you suffer through some shitty dead end job cuz you "think" its what you are supposed to do for your family.i don't get a check but im sure about to start looking into now!

I could be completely wrong here-I've never lived thru an economic collapse.

I think it may get weird for awhile-I could be for a while longer-and some people may deserve it. But I don't long for it-I dread it.

I'm amazed at people who look forward to it (you hint at that here-if I misread then this doesn't apply to you). It's probably not going to be pretty. Most of the time in history it hasn't been. Most of the time in history the people who don't deserve it are the ones who are hurt most. And most people aren't very good to each other.

But I could be wrong. I just don't look forward to it.

ive been getting ssd for about 6 months now, maybe less... and now they are messing around with my benefits, im no longer getting it from the same place and i cant get any real information about it...i just keep getting assurances that it will be in the mail... it is for real, they are definatley taking away people benefits and i just dont think thats cool

 

I have known a few people who got checks and who still do get SSI checks. Yes they can haul water and wood but:
The requirements for SSI are you cannot hold a sustainable job which equals working a 30-hour a week job. Most the people I know that get can’t work a 30 hour a week job mentally they can’t live that life and SSI was a last resort.

People don’t just go down to the SSI office and say give me a check it is a 2-4 year wait full of appointments, meetings and court hearings more the half the people never make it through the process and more then half that do get denied.

What options do people have everyone says “get a fucking job..” but what about the people who can’t hold a job?
They have to choose between suicide and living on the fringes of society and trying to scrounge enough to survive and that is what SSI just enough to survive.

I have more problems with police officers getting $30,000 a year, politicians getting $130,000 a year, muti million dollar farms getting hundreds of thousands a year to not grow crops then a drop out hippy getting $8,000 a year to buy food and stay away from people.
People just get mad because they have to work 40 hours while other people don’t oh well that is the life we have chosen, to work (or the life that was presented to us).

What should we do? kill all the people who don’t work? No that would look bad in the media. Maybe
Incarcerate them to support a police system?
Build a system that makes their life so miserable they will end their own life?
Feed a few a measly existences so the government appears like they are compassionate while the vast majority self destroy due to an unlivable environment or become incarcerated to support the prison system?

 

Well put!i couldn't agree more.i could certainly add to the list of money going worse places.but hopefully they get the point.i'd much rather see an at least somewhat like minded individual get money from the man,then the other places it goes.
as far as working a "real job" goes,well not everyone is cut out for it.hell i don't get a check but i haven't worked a full time job except once in the last 18 yrs...don't confuse this for being a dreaded "drainbow" though.i can guarantee that i have helped more family then most people.i pull my own weight and then some.but i doubt i'll ever "get a job"!i have much respect for anyone who can hold a job.as long as they do it and maintain a happy life for them and their immediate family.
but if it pisses you off enough to trash another person for not being able to do the same thing...well maybe you should think about the place your misdirected anger is really coming from...

Oh me,oh my,where to begin here,,??

i guess i should start by saying that the "drainbow" comment was in my eyes a bit harsh and i must have overlooked it when i agreed,although in general i do agree with peace pleases post..
that being said while i know that there are a multitude of able bodied rainbows that get a check,out of them there is a percentage that could never hold down a real job due to there "disability",,cookie comes to mind..WE LOVE YOU COOKIE!!!!

as for those well enough to tote wood,or haul water or what have you that get a check for a physical disability(not a mental disability),if they get caught and get cut off i have zero sympathy for them.

its always amazed me the lengths a able bodied individual will go to to get that tiny check in the mail be it for mental or physical disability..i have never understood why one wouldnt just work here and there a couple weeks a month for the same amount or more. from what ive seen with my own eyes,many(not all) that get there disability checks are just plain lazy individuals. sure they may step up once in a while and tote wood or water,but in general,they do little or nothing compared to others..

on the "dead in job" comment,i can think of no deader end than being on ssi.i mean you get barely enough money to survive,you cant get a real job,if you do work under the table you have to live in fear of being found out and losing your little bit of nothing check. you cant own anything more than what you could afford with your check,if you do the governments up your ass wanting to know where you got the money.now that to me is being on a dead end street.

idiot,,i dont need survival books,,when the collapse comes we are far more prepared and knowledgeable than ALMOST any rainbow i know of and IMO,the same holds true for society as a whole..but thank you for the offer..

theres really no need for anyone to try an get on ssi to crash the economy,we are almost there and sooner than anyone that hasnt been keeping track can imagine that day will be here.

so i gotta ask,what makes everyone think the family as a whole will fair any better than society as a whole? because you know how to live in the woods? as long as there are dumpsters in the next town,a magic hat to pass so someone can hit a store for supplies and donations are coming in from kind family with farms and gardens,yes,family is fine..

if society truly collapses,in my personal opinion the majority of family(NOT ALL) will be just as fucked as society as a whole.

just one scenario: so lets say around shawnee time something catastrophic happens,the government ceases ALL funding for the poor and sick including food stamps,welfare and ssi,the power grid is lost or cut off by the government so there is no longer any access to gas,what food was in the stores is quickly looted and is gone,the dumpsters have been picked through.all this within days.
martial law is declared and travel is restricted to government business and for people going to turn themselves into FEMA at the camps ONLY.

before martial law is fully imposed thousands flee to the national forests,most are armed to the teeth with fear and anger in there eyes.they quickly begin using up what resources there are.
on top of that its fall,the wild edibles are going dormant so wild food is scarce and there are multitudes foraging for it..winter will soon be upon us and the cities are in lock down if your caught on the roads you are taken to a FEMA camp.
things will go from bad to worse and it may be years before some semblance of society is once again formed.

how will family as a whole survive through the weeks and months till spring,,and beyond..

this is the cold hard reality of the total collapse of society as we know it.

just what makes anyone think that family by in large will be any better off than the masses? IMO they wont be.
i dare say theres no more of a percentage of rainbows living a self sustaining life than people living on the fringes of babylon buying into the system as a whole.
im sure that percentage shrinks even farther for those collecting government aid,just as it does in society.
so while some revel in the fact that those checks will help cripple the government,they should remember those getting those checks are going to be some of the least prepared to do without,in rainbow land just as in babylon..

there is something to be said for buying into the system rather than sucking at its tit (that check in the mail)..
its allowed me to purchase 15 rural,private and easy to defend acres of land with water on it.its allowed us to become self sustaining,we grow our own food,raise our own meat,we have about 2 years of staples put back,that if need be can be easily transported anywhere we need them to go..we have the tools and supplies necessary to disappear or continue on living the way we do,no matter the season and survive comfortably,indefinitely.
if the need arises we have 120,000 acres of N.F. behind us to disappear into,we can and will survive.

but what about the family who relies on there check in the mail,the family that relies on going to town and hitting the dumpsters,or spanging for there next meal?

lets face it that is a very LARGE percentage of family.
so winter is weeks away an SHTF,,please explain to me how family as a whole is going to be any better than society as a whole?
the fact is,IMO they wont be..

no,, no i for one am not waiting on the collapse,praying for the day babylon falls..
although i do believe that day is upon us,i would never wish the pain and suffering that will come with it on anyone,much less,my less prepared brothers and sisters who are IMO not thinking clearly about the realities of what will be upon us when the collapse comes..

while i know that its common practice anyway for the government to spy on people to catch them defrauding them and has been for years,i am somewhat skeptical on the 50,000 per state mandate you speak of.. do you have any documented proof of this program or is this just a rainbow rumor?

I don’t really buy into the Rainbow SSI conspiracy it could be true but I am just skeptical about conspiracy stuff unless it is proven.

Usually large government cutoffs target statistics they did a lot of SSI cut offs like 20 years ago to drug users and alcoholics. One year they decided cut off people on SSI due to substance abuse so everyone listed as an alcoholic or drug abusers.

I lived in a town that had a lot of hippy drop outs on SSI and a lot of them got cut off in that whole deal.
It was probably when Ragan was in office I think he made a lot of cuts SSI and money to the mentally ill.

I don’t believe in the end of the world stuff but times are changing people around here in rural areas are trying to sell property like crazy because the price of gas is making their lifestyle impossible.

I used to make money in construction that is non-existent around here today, I’m doing webdesign and graphics and it is all turning into a global market and people are doing tec jobs for $5 a day in India.

I’m working my ass off try to find a stable place in the changing times and economy.

 

well i dont by into the end of the world either,,if i did id sell all my shit,buy lotsa drugs and go sit in the woods somewhere and stay shitfaced till it happened..

 

I glad this was said. I see this FIRST HAND WALKING THE LAND as what Folk's of ALL age's are doing for the past 3-4 years on the land. It's like they are giving up and were never taught to Stand up for anything.

drop the government approved corporate pushed drugs,tell the psychologist thanks but no thanks and go find healing in a natural and healthy way..
