my 2c-i is not a fluffy white powder as shown on erowid

shiny slightly offwhite powder almost chrystal like although it was flattened paper thin for shipment

should I be concerned about it?

    thanks:confused:

not sure if the camera would capture a good enough pic to tell

it looks very pure though - just worried the DR may have mixed his chems

don't want a 2c-i size dose of DOC

I have the same source as you, so.....the 2c-i was fine. It was a white powder, wouldn't say fluffy though.

It's useless to rely on descriptions of texture or color when identifying a powder.

I've seen two batches of 2c-b that look like completely different chemicals. One was sparkly sharp yellow crystals and another batch was this white and was flaky and sticky with the texture of flour.

I've also seen a batch of 2c-d and a batch of 2c-c that I could not tell apart if my life depended upon it.

You could consider investing in testing kits (same ones used to MDMA). Check out this link, they have a very comprehensive chart that tells the many different types of reactions that can occur depending on which chemical you may have and which test you used. Its a great resource:

    http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/mdma/mdma_faq_testing_kits.shtml

For example, according to the chart (and assuming what you have actually is 2c-i), if you used the marquis kit on your substance, it would start out dark green and change to black. If you used the Mecke test kit, you would have an "immediate reaction to a reddish brown similar to drying blood"

A test kit is definitely a good idea.

The only 2C-I I've seen was an off-white, somewhat yellow, sticky powder. It was very compact. 25mg of that 2C-I looked like half of 16mg of 2C-E.

    Don't eyeball stuff, too.
