So, thank goodness I answered my phone

....which i very rarely do.
It was my work calling to confirm I was coming into training... on MONDAY at 5 pm. Ummm my paper they gave me said it starts this SAT. at 8 AM... so i mention that... oops..they wrote the wrong sat.- there is training sat. the 30th. So yeah I woulda gotten up at 5 am and went in there only to have no one there... and after the night I had last night (finding out shit about my husband via a friend... it was worked on but yeah... NOT in the mood to work this weekend... need to chill out a few days...) I'm so, so, so, soooo glad.

I was dreading a 9 hour day this Sat. and it seems like a damn miracle happened when I picked up my phone today. Yay.

seriously- i cannot explain the stress i went thru last night. it's REALLY WEIRD finding out a secret about your partner from a friend. when i heard i started SHAKING and i mean i was really, really, really mad. that's what my other thread was about. i almost lost it. got kinda drunk and i HATE getting drunk. but then my BFF called me and talked me thru his side (my husband's)... said i did have a right to be mad but just to explain it to him (dan) WHY i was mad exactly how i said it to him.... cause i was ready to TEAR SHIT UP. no joke. but instead i got really firm yet calm and i ended up getting my way... but yeah it was a stressful night and i didnt really sleep and i feel like shit today... just need the extra days to get ready to start working...

 

i didnt sleep lasts night either and had a semi arguement
with my boyfriend nothing like the shit your going thru though
im still high

Let me ask you a question- do you think having a secret, hidden checking and savings account is a big deal in a long term relationship? Not having seperate accounts that both know about but a hidden account?

Whatever. I flipped. And it's getting shut down and the direct deposit is going back into the joint account but yeah... it made me REALLY angry to hear about this from my FRIEND. and why in the world he was dumb enuf to tell MY FRIEND... who fucking knows...

It pissed me off cause I'm gonna be putting all of the money I make into a joint account because I'm willing to trust that me n him can make things work... but it would suck if I was putting all of my money into a joint account while he's saving up money secretly to move out or something when I could be doing the same but wasn't gonna... it just... I don't know... sat wrong with me. Like just seems shady. I understand his reason- he started it in June and I was wasting money on drugs then... but I stopped doing that and if he claims he wants to make things work... having hidden accounts isn't gonna help... blah whatever. it's gonna be shut down. I'm not gonna make a huge deal about it.

 

Why is it sneaky? Maybe he wants financial security.

If my spouse had problems with hard drugs I don't know that I would want all our eggs in one basket . . . the odds of it trickling away mysteriously or just dissapearing one day are high enough that I would be uncomfortable.

This isn't an insult to my example-spouse or to Lucky, it's a realistic view on what hard drugs do to people.

 

As I said, a separate account that he doesn't HIDE, no problem.

Hiding it makes me wonder what it's for and why he lied.

He agreed with me so whatever.

 

And honestly, that is why I'm not mad anymore. I felt betrayed and still do but I can totally understand that point. The thing is NOW I'm not doing hard drugs and will be putting my own money into the account so there is no need for it anymore...which he saw.

I do, however, wonder if I wasn't TOLD by someone ELSE about it when he would have cancelled it. He said he would have soon but I'm doubting it.

actually when i wasnt spending any money on drugz... or on anything really and i asked for gas money to go look for a job and food money and there "was none"- it did seem a bit strange. seriously.
