I think the people of the 60's were able to do it, but chose not to because for the most part they gave in to the customs of their parents' generation. Whether it'll be different in 30 years idk, but I do know one big advantage to that generation is they will have been bred on the internet, where there's bilateral media. it's one thing we can thank the boomer generation for
Progress is already being made, my friend, at least in the two states in this country that think differently. If marijuana isn't decriminalized in MA this November I'll believe you but polls are showing the bill will pass. People know that weed isn't a big deal - there are a lot of worse drugs available and some of successful people who aren't afraid to admit usage - Steve Jobs, for example, who doesn't give a fuck because he's a billionaire. Patience. Cigarettes are becoming taboo, people need some kind of smoke to replace them with. Cloves aren't catching on, why not weed?
When i started smoking herb a few times a day is when i started thinking the revolutionary thoughts and not just about the government and its effects on the world, but about everything in general, ie. religion, music, culture, psychology, people. It is one of my favorite activities when caned. Legal or not marijuana is here to stay. But i have a feeling, that with the internet at our desposal we have a much greater chance of Legalizing it in our life time unlike the generations before us without this powerful tool.
