I'm curious to know how people here feel about vaporizors. worth the $$? is the high the same? is it better or worse? (I'm esp interested in what people think about the vapor bros hands free) eace:
Well here is my experience. For me, vaporizing gives me an almost completely different high than smoking. When I smoke my body usually gets very heavy and has that "sagging" feeling, and I generally laugh allot. When I vaporize my body feels very light, and everything, especially colors, are very vibrant. Vaporizing gives me MUCH more of a head high. Some people are different though. If it's possible I would try a vap before purchasing one just to make sure you like the high it gives you. There are many great things about vaps though such as it doesn't smell like weed when you do it, MUCH "healthier" for your lungs, and it generally will make your weed go further. I have heard good things about the Vapor Bros, but I have never used one. I have a Hot Box which works very well. I would also suggest checking out Craigslist for great deals on vaporizers. I got my Hot Box for $40 and it was in fantastic condition and it was only 2 weeks old, the guy even showed me the receipt.
I ordered a vapor bros last week, it shipped today.. so I'll probably get it next week. From what I researched it seems like a vape is worth every penny.
The high from the vape is different. IMO it is worse. That alone is enough to turn me off from vapes. I've smoked many, many times out of my friend's and it's just not the same as direct combustion of plant material. It's actually very hard to put your finger on what's missing, but it's like only half the high is there, and all 3 of my stoner friends agree, including the vape owner. With that said, he uses it for the health reasons and because he has an extremely low weed tolerance (he could vomit and pass out off of 1 bowl of dank). I really wish they worked as well, because I'm tired of ruining my lungs, but they don't. They don't replace combustion, they are an inferior alternative imo.
i like vaporizers mostly cuz they're super fun and i think it tastes a lot better. i prolly wouldnt buy one tho, i just use my friend's once in a while
