Salem's Lot, IT, Dreamcatcher, The Shining (both versions are good), Pet Cemetery, Carrie, The Langoliers, and Cujo are some of my faves. I felt really bad for Cujo though lol.
I love Rose Red it is spooky and intresting the film is is based on a real haunted house called Winchester mystery house in SanJose California
not a fan of horror...or king's books, but cats eye...that was twisted. esp the pecking pigeon on the balcony when that guy had to walk around the american skyscraper.. love some of james herbert ...though i tend to skip the gory bits though i resonate with carrie at times
Carrie Misery The Green Mile Salem's Lot Cujo Pet Semetary The Shining Christine I absolutely love Stephen King. He is a genius.
i like misery, carrie, christine, pet semetary, and cujo. also, did you know that he wrote The Body, which was made into the movie Stand by me.
I used to absolutely HATE the majority of Stephen King's horror adapted for the screen...Until The Mist which is now one of my favorite horror movies of all time. It's scary in a 'it could happen any day' kind of way. The Lovecraftian twist was nice, too. And the ending...well, I won't spoil it but...wow, just fucking wow. Thomas Jane is a capable actor, too... All that and a soundtrack featuring Dead Can Dance!
Misery is the best thriller I've ever seen. Pet Sematary is one of the best horror movies I've ever seen.
The Shining- Of course It- Clowns are creepy Misery- Hobbling, need I say more The Stand- 8 hours of craziness Silver Bullet- Kinda lame but I like it, and it has Gary Busey, he's always outta control Children of the Corn- "Bring him the blood of the outlanders" The Thing- One of the scarier movies ever Carrie- Shouldn't have fucked with her Thinner Salem's Lot The Mist Storm of the Century Theres just too many. I'd rather read the books anyday and Stephen King has said that he hates all the movies that have been based off of his books. The Shining, The Stand, Misery, and The Thing are definetily the best ones.
IT, and children of the corn I used to watch children of the corn all the time when I was a kid, I want to read the book.
Children of the Corn was actually part of the Stephen King anthology ‘Night Shift’ a collection of 20 short-stories which included Graveyard Shift, The Mangler, The Lawnmower Man, and many other famous stephen king classics :cheers2: "From the depths of darkness, where hideous rats defend their empire, to dizzying heights, where a beautiful girl hangs by a hair above a hellish fate, this chilling collection of twenty short stories will plunge readers into the subterranean labyrinth of the most spine-tingling, eerie imagination of our time" - Night Shift Hotwater
Just don’t make the same mistake that I did by actually reading the book while working the Night Shift Especially the graveyard shift, gray matter, children of the corn, the lawnmower man, the mangler, and one for the road :leaving: Hotwater
I read some of his books before and watched i think one of his movies....Some of the scariest shit i have ever seen...Iam stuck on one of the short stories in Everythings Eventual...That book is great, the autopsy room four is my favorite....I loved Cell, it was one of my favorites...Duma Key was allright, i found it hard to stay focused....Iam gonna read the rest of Everythings Eventual later....Thinner is in here somewhere, hows that book?. I was talking about the trailer for it when i said i was scared shitless lol...The Shining is also a really creepy movie Lol...
