How long does the trip last?

I'm gonna be trying shrooms for the first time soon in place of pot and I was wondering how long do they take to kick in and how long the trip will last.

Well i after about 45 minutes i took them (3 grams) , i felt kinda light headed and like my body was floating. THis feeling got more intsense and pretty soon i felt really differnet in my head (in a good way). So basically at 1:15 i felt very differnet and knew that the trip had started, but i was very mad because everyone was getting visuals but i had no visuals at all. But after playing guitar hero the visuals kicked in (everything moving up and down, i thought i was in a candy jungle, colours moving everywhere, fucking awesome), and it lasted like that for about 5 hours but got less intense. I then smoked some weed and went to bed, so you should be done tripping after 6 hours. SOrry for the long report, lol

 

The first time i did mushies I took them and played guitar hero too until they kicked in. I got wicked 2D visuals when I closed my eyes. They sort of resembled jesters and they were made out of the little targets on guitar hero. That was an eighth (3.5 grams) of some decent shit.

 

It takes almost like about an hour or so to fully kick in, im sure it depends on if u have eaten, and stuff. The trip for me lasted from like 1 to 5 or 6 and i was out of it/kinda stoned until like 10 and it was really about a 4 or 5 hour trip but you can still feel some difference for like at least a few hours after wards

 

Usually it lasts 6 hours, and you are peaking at like 3-4 hours into it. It was different for me, it lasted like 4 hours and I peaked within the first 2 hours, and then was coming down for the next 2 hours. But then the rest of the day all my colors were disoriented and I was still very confused.

 

yeah, if your tripping inside then i definitely recommend playing guitar hero to bring out the visuals, it even gives me visuals (not really, but the whole room is moving up and im moving down) sober lol

it all depends on the type of magic mushroom you are taking it can take from 20 mins to a hour to kick in and effects can last for 2 to 6 hours!
