I was having the best day ever and I know this UPS man since I was a little kid He would always tell me to do good in school, go to college, and dont let guys get me down because I am very beautiful, He always makes my day! Well, I was walking around and the UPS man I happen to know is making a delivery and I wave at him. He smiles and comes over to me asking if I need a ride home, which I did and he accepted. He said he could get fired so it was pretty risky. He gave me a ride home and dropped me off, and I gave him a hug like always because hes freakin cool. I come home and tell my mom my day and how cool it was, and I tell her about the UPS man and she freaks. She says what if I got raped? Or killed? Or kidnapped? and I told her "Im home mom, he isnt like that." But she never listens to me, its always her, I hate my mom, Ive called child services on her before for punching my face. Whatever, she ruined my day, like always, being so negative, I wish she was cool and understanding and sympathetic, but shes not. Now she's going to tell my dad on how I dont listen to the rules and whatnot. I hate living here with these strangers. Geez im such a teenager.. And yes I do see from thier standpoint, but not EVERYBODY want to kill you, you know. Ive known him for a long time and all he did was give me a ride home. Its not like he begged me or put me in the back of his truck.
Hahaha.....you remind me of myself when I was 16, only as far as I can remember (I've been in a bit of a haze for the past 5 years) I was a male then, as I am now. Dealing with anybody that is close minded can be a bitch, especially when you live with people like that. Just roll with the punches so to say, and deal with it if you feel it is necessary. What I mean by that is if you feel you need to continue to subjugate yourself to their bullshit in order to do things you want to do later on down the road then just bite your tongue, but don't forget who you are. Just use them as a perfect example of the type of person you don't want to become (that's what I did and still do). If things are really that bad (which they don't appear to be) then up and leave, because there's no sense in saying something and doing nothing about it. School is free (high school that is), so if you still want to finish that up then it shouldn't matter if you're living with your parents or not. I moved out for a bit when I was your age, for the same exact reasons. But hey, don't worry you're still a kid you've got plenty of life ahead of you and although this next year or two (however long you plan on living with them) might be tough to get through just keep in mind that things most likely will get better when you're out on your own. Just don't be one of those kids that complies with all the bullshit their parents want for them because of all the percs they give you (ie. money, car, clothes and the lot) It's better to have less and be free than to have "shit" and live a life that is less than complete happiness.
i have a 12 y/o and if my 12 y/o got asked by a UPS to get driven home i'd be mortified , those be my exact words to. You'll understand when you have child. My mom said the exact same thing to me , you'll understand when you have your own children but until then listen to what i have say. Now i know motherly instincts. Its called over-protection. Whether or not shes negative or positive shes your mother and your only mother and she deserves respect whether shes done right or wrong. What happened yesterday has passed. Don't let that hang over your hed or her head. let the page turn and refresh take a deep breath and if she fumes take a deep breath and walk away .. Mom can be going through life changes and you my not know/understnd what she may be going through. Be there, listen ... Tell her ... All i want is for you to understand and listen mom be my friend. hey man your still under there roof they just want to try and make sure you have a safe return back home and understand the importance of getting into vehicles with different strangers but yeah i guess if you have to think that way then why dont you think that you could be the killer instead of everone always thinking the person picking you up is some sort of killer or rapist if thats not the case maybe you should go about on your safe returns back to your main base by taking safer routes of getting there compared to the people that are watching you on your returns back to the base based on how you did the return and what type of bad returns your making

sure, your mom could be more understanding. but she just cares about you so much, she cant fathom the idea of having anything bad happen to you. thats all parents care about...
your mother sounds somewhat fuck-up but, quite small time though. when you have a mother who is so fuck-up that the husband, daughter and, one son all commit suicide then, that is really, really, really super fucked-up! i grew up in that family. belive me it sounds like you got it good. it might be better yet, once your 18 your of majority then and, you can do as you want.
Well I just turned 25 today... I feel as though I should say something... We live in pretty crazy world. People are paranoid by nature now With all this code Red and Yellow and rainbow colored frenzy it's pretty hard to keep things real. All your parents are trying to do is remind you there are bad cats out there. they didnt need to freak out and throw the book at you that's there bad. But you'll have to forgive them your there flesh and blood, and they have invested their entire life into you. And without them you wouldn't be here. Go give em a hug, and agree to disagree.
