Gael Garcia Bernal is dreamy. Julianne Moore looks like every teacher i had throughout highschool. Any thoughts on the trailer?
Hmmm... It's hard to tell by this trailer. It looks so so. I went to Rotten Tomatoes and they seemed pretty harsh on it, but not many reviews. The book apparently won the author a Nobel Prize. And Fernando Meirelles is a superb director. That alone's probably enough reason to see it.
thats what im thinking. How could the movie not succeed? Critics always suck though. Am i wrong? the newer posters are really cool.
I have read the book. It is amazing, albeit a difficult book. I really have high hopes for the movie. I cant imagine it will be bad. Good cast and good director and amazing premise.
