From some TV show in the background, just heard Wildman Fisher's name; what a shock! In the 60's he was a street poet who would often stop by our commune to sleep, get something to eat, or to just ramble to people who would listen to him. One Evening several of us went to see the Mothers of Invention. Zappa opened with a few musicans he put on an album he produced.
(Yes that long ago!)Thunderclap Newman was one performer. Then we thought we took too much acid; There was Wildman doing a song about all his times into and out of mentel assilums, playing a cardboard guitar as he ran around the theater,"Here we go,here we go around the merry-go-round". We later bought a
couple of the albums. Just checked it out, it was some kind of a talent show.
Had never thought I would here his name after all these years. There are still streat freaks around!!!..john
