Well, I know I'm fourty years late in doing this, but Im making my way to California from the bible thumping plains of central florida. I'm going to be WWOOFing around for a while, heres a link for those unfamiliar www.wwoofusa.org. But I hope to eventually settle in. I realize that San Francisco isn't what it was in the 60's but I am determined on keeping an open mind and meeting new people, so if any of you hipsters out there want to show me the spots, or just give me some tips on where and where not to go, and just otherwise give me a little more background on the area itself, I would gladly take it with me. I guess I should be worried about the unemployment rate, and finding a place to live once im done WWOOFing, but I'm not, maybe theres still a little slice of hippiedom hidden somewhere between this and that. maybe its up to us to make it happen. whatever it is life is in our hands girls and guys, so california, here i come.
California is a wonderful place for free spirits. However, if it is San Franciscoco you are bound, remember this: "The coldest winter I every spent was a July in San Francisco" -Samuel Clemens
