no, not quite, but in terms of content + areas researched by professors teaching the course (post grad), it may as well be a "permaculture" course!! soil management agroecology ethnobotany agroeconomics community links to food system etc.........
If you can't grow your own food at least buy it from a local farmer. You might be surprised by the interesting and unique produce you can get.
