I would not want to be there right now.

    And you know what....

I have a feeling America will soon see shit like this.

Actually, I never dream of war
even though it's always on my mind.

Reporters are fair game in war. Ask all the survivors of the ones killed in Iraq.

No, you seem a fatalist who would seemingly love for the shit to go down in the US.
Just so you could say "told you so".
Even though the likelyhood is slim, almost zero.

    Turn off your TV, kid.

    Think for yourself.

The media you know is controlled for a purpose.

Fatalist? huh, that's a good word, never been called that before.

I'm just pessimistic. I would never say "I told you so" that's childish, my friend...

I live in America, have my whole life, I'm just relaying how I feel about this place...

    This country is already "falling"

things don't happen in a day
    it's slowly but surely.

I feel the word peacekeeper isn't very appropriate.

odon while the day may not come that journalists are shot at by foreign troops in america(which BTW,i believe it is inevitable that foreign troops will be policing our streets),the day is already here that hardly a day goes by that police brutality on our citizens is not in the news.
now they are wanting to pass a law to not allow any video to be made public till after officers have been "investigated"..
whats happening in america is nothing less than a metamorphosis into a brutal police state where the police are above the law.

for every instance of police brutality that makes the news one has to assume that 10 do not.

they will do whatever it takes to protect there "officers" from prosecution..
just the other day i saw where a police chief said,"well since you have a video tape of the incident,i guess we have no choice but to investigate"..

stalks vision of whats coming in america is not far fetched. i really dont think you have a fucking clue at how bad its become here and what lengths they are going to to censor to the world whats happening to our citizens at the hands of our own government daily.

I see journalists attacked I see no proof of who did the attacking. Of course I don't understand Turkish. But I also know Turkey has been supporting this and the US relationship with Georgia from the beginning. I only question how much US taxpayer funds have been promised them.

Journalists have a dificult job, and most of them today opt for the easy out of being embedded and following the party spiel. I remember the foreign journalists killed in Iraq by supposedly smart bombs in hotel rooms during or shortly after Shock and AWE. I heard hardly a single voice offered in disgust then. Those percision bombs seemed have found their targets, and no one really cared. A hotel that the journalists were told was safe and told to stay in?

I have a "fucking clue" how you have been describing it (America) over the last few months.
I have a "fucking clue" you are the majority of the time OTT.
I have a "fucking clue" you are good with headlines, not so good with the article underneath, the majority of the time.
I have a "fucking clue" you probably do have issues beyond my vision (in America).
