Hi, im wanting to know if its safe to use marijuana while on prescription drugs. I recently had to go to the docotor because of a lump on the side of my neck. Im going to be using cannabis tonight. Is it safe? I hope so. Please inform me, thank you.

i have a small lump on the back of my neck as well. but it's been there ever since i was a little kid. and the doctor told me it was block up pores back when i was 10. it's still there and im kind of worried. but all well, let nature take it's course.

    It depends on the drug.

Every once in a while I take diflucan for oral thrush and I have read there are certain reactions when used in combination with cannabis. You should probably ask your doctor (provided that you can trust him/her, but the doctors I have known are trustworthy).

Google it, ask your doctor because you never know.

I have found for the most part that Pot does not interact with most prescription drugs but I agree it is in your best intrest to tell your doctor about your drug use. However, because you are below the age of 16 or 18 for that matter, I agree you need to find out if your doctor is someone you can trust. Feel free to ask him the questions about "can our conversation be considered doctor / paitent previlage" thing. If he says yes he can't tell your parents anything and if he does feel free to sue. I can think of ten lawyers that would love to sue a doctor for this. Anyway, getting back to your question. One of the only things I found that was frowned upon was smoking after dental work. That I do not recomend. You may not notice the problems but it can help cause infections. Good Luck and Happy Hunting.
