i hate death metal im more into screamo/hardcore some grindcore which is close to death metal so i hear ya haha

 

I can't listen to blast beats on every song on every album. Same goes with the vocalist using the same voice throughout the entire song/album. Sorry, no talent, ok? ok

 

Melodic death metal is some of the best music ever produced, although I have to agree most death metal is absolute shit

Death metal comes in many forms, and not all use blast beats.

Death metal is so fucking ridiculous at times, but its mostly straight up awesome. I don't really like brutal death metal that much, because its pretty much just blasturbation. Most people I talk to think death metal is just AHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHH, but thats the most close minded thought ever.

 

the brutal pig-squeal 'blasturbation' shit is the best kind of metal by far though. but i can totally see why people think it's complete shit, cause it is. it just so happens to rule regardless!

 

This I gotta disagree with. The pig squeal and breakdowns are what is killing death metal. I don't know if your talking about the kind with breakdowns, but still, the pig squeal is horrible. The only band I like with it are Despised Icon, even though they are deathcore. Really low and guttural gurgles though are good in brutal death metal sometimes. I personally prefer old school death and melodic/progressive death metal.

 

when it comes to death metal, the only bands i have ever truely liked are:

Cannibal Corpse
Job for a Cowboy (Pig Squeals)
Blood Stain Child

and probably a few others, but i have nothing wrong with genre, its still kick ass
