you obviously dont know as much about drugs as you think you do. or maybe you just dont know chemistry. allow me to enlighten you. dxm is the dextro isomer of methorphan, an opiod, hence dextromethorphan. opiate, opiod, same fuckin thing chemically. if making someone feel uppity, increasing their heartrate, and making thier thoughts race, doesnt make it an upper, then what does, oh so wise drug guru? and you can fuck off, just cause weed is a depressant for you doesnt mean its a depressant for everyone. it stimulates me to do shit, so i classify it as a stimulant. just cause something doesnt get you wired doesnt mean its not a stimulant. if you noticed i differentiated between uppers and stimulants.

i'm pretty sure DXM is classified as a dissociative...
and marijuana is now classified as psychotropic.
drugs effect people differently, the question in the this thread isn't how it makes you feel, it is your favorite from each class.

Dextromethorphan is the dextrorotatory enantiomer of the methyl ether of levorphanol, a narcotic analgesic. It is also a stereoisomer of levomethorphan, an opioid analgesic. It is named according to IUPAC rules as (+)-3-methoxy-17-methyl-9α,13α,14α-morphinan.

But I think it's clear that to the user, it feels like a dissociative.

haha :) call things whatever you want...

psychedelic: i can't choose. acid and mushrooms.
    empathogen: mdma :)
    stimulant: adderall
opiate: opium... the whole experience of smoking it and how it tastes and smells make it better, in my mind, than the stronger opiates.

the rest i could take or leave, or haven't tried. the only things i really want to try that i haven't are dmt and ketamine.

i hate all hypnotics with a passion. benzos are helpful but i don't find them much fun. i don't care about depressants.

dude its cool, many drugs fall under more than one category, thats just how it rolls. its an opiod with dissociative effects. but since i dont like the typical opiate/opioid compounds, i just wrote dxm.

MJ is so hard to classify, since it does different things to everyone. some just shut up and sit there, some dance or talk, some play games. I think I'd call it a mild psychedelic since that leaves it open-ended for individual responses.

    opiates: oxycontin or morphine
    benzo: cyclobenzaprine or klonopin
    psych: LSD (MJ)
stims: caffeine (unless you count E as a stim)
    empathogen: E
dissociative: nitrous (cuz it's the only one I've had)

I hate coke, don't need to try meth. I know i'd like heroin so I'll just let that suffice and never do it

Benzos: Alprazolam- 1 stick is a relaxing couple of hours

Hallucinogens: I'd have to say mushrooms but the LSD from the old days was nice...

    Dissociatives: No thanks

Opiates: -Heroin by far, Unfortunately not something you can do every day- before you HAVE to do it every day

Stimulants: -no thanks.- No coke in about 20 yrs

    Others: Good weed(of course)
from years past>- the old Rorer 714 Qualudes sure were fun

Ludes were almost like being drunk ,without the shit that comes with alcohol.
Much better -a real high, unlike benzos, you wanted to get real active but they were pretty disabilitating. The girls liked them too - I haven't done any of these "designer" of today but there is nothing out there like a lude. They took them off the market because I guess thier really wasnt a good reason someone would need to take them. Besides they started coming out with modern stuff that didnt effect you like ludes did.
