gust do colorful hair wraps wool or hemp thread u can do macromet knots or just wrap u can add beads n trinkets and whatever

yah, that video was helpful, thank you. And soaring eagle, why be so closed minded? just because you do not like a certain style doesn't mean you have to bash it. i'm not offended in the least but there isn't just ONE way for anything.
not close minded just they look dumb.. melted plastic dreds..lol i do know a dude though that puts alotta umm i guess theyre simular to a feather boa type material or something 1 sec i think i have a pioc from his wedding lil hard to see even if u zoom in maybe the vids came out better i dunno ut yea hes got alotta these techtured colorful things in his that looked cool..oh also my dear freind nicki started her dreads by tyoing in alotta cool colorful things just whatever she foiund and liked the color of shed tie in ](cant add myspace pics but if u look at my myspoace nicki is in my top freinds, in her amazing album u can see what i mean)
IF you do fake dreads right, they can look real. It depends on the quality of material you use. If they look like melted plastic you burnt them.
100% kanekalon hair (buy in bulk online, like 3 bucks a bag) backcomb a piece seal it with boiling water thread into real dreads voila!
I think fake dreads can be fun but it feels better to just have real ones. I way prefer putting trinkets and wraps in like SE said I had a good few fake ones when I first started my dread journey and had to take them out. I just hated the feel of them and after watching gok wan he said the extra weight on your scalp could make you go bald! I couldn't get that thought out of my head, lol
