in an office u maybe can get a wool scarf or a uniformed colored tam or something and right heres the besr place \look thru fashion and crafts forum, arliaflower and knittinchick make awesome hats but theres others as well
ALL THE WAY but my hair was shirt then... actualy the hemp wrap was a good 6 inches longer then the hair so i could use it to tie em all up
Hey check out the hair wraps tell me what you think did I do them right? Dreads have been in for 1.5 weeks.
yjey look ok, not really the decorative typwe u usualy see but fot holdin em together they'll do fine even if they look lil funny wear a wool hst now and i bet ya they dread fast
hmm how long you think that they'll take to start forming shapes with the wraps, one of my hair wraps fell off near the top and its really unknotty besides the root which i think is because of the backcombing, its kind of a fat one kno. I could post a pic if needed
Well its been about a month. Right now the ones on the sides are doing fairly well, but the ones in the far back and the fatter ones in the front are falling apart. I'm thinking about splitting the two in the front into four, and then splitting the middle one into two. Tell me guys what you honestly think of my progress. A picture from a few minutes ago is attached.
Do you guys think i should mess with the front top of my hair or just let it fall apart by itself? its kind of rooted at the roots, but still feels as if it would be easily splittable.
commin along pretty good if the wraps start to fall out id let em from here on out i think they'll do foine on theyre own
Ive been sleeping with a tam on at night...and oh yes...SE is right...I wake up every morning with a mounted heap of unidread action on top of my head! I have to get up earlier now to seperate my hair! But my dreads have made tremendous progress just from wearing a hat. So, if your willing to spend a little extra time in the a.m....I reccomend wearing a hat to bed.
you look stoned as hell in the second pic. Keep it up. I dig em man, they are growing fast too. Stay patient and true to your desire an in another 6-9 months you'll have killer locks.
I've been wearing my hat to bed on and off (I wear it all day every day unless my dreads are looking particularly together), luckily my hair is short enough that the dreads don't try to eat each other. I haven't seen too much difference between when I wear it to bed and when I don't, but with heating bills going up, I might just do it just to save some money.
