Have you ever had a game idea that you thought would just be incredible if they brought it out ? Me and a guy from circuit city were talking about how somebody should create Highlander online..World range like WoW but enviroment like City of Heroe's :] Experience is taken from Pvp kills and games are played per season. Hardcore mode would be fun too where you only get 1 character per season and if you die it's over for you "There can only be one" Anybody else got some fun idea's?
I had this idea of creating a celebrity chess game. All the pieces would be well known celebrities like: The Queen could be Freddie Mercury, the Knight could be Glady's Knight, the Pawns could be The the cast of some famous movie. As it would be on a video game, you will see these celebrity pieces in full detail and in 3D.
Grand Theft Auto: America Coast to coast GTA MMORPG Keep the 'sandbox' feel of GTA, as that's a pretty integral feel of the series, but you can pick up skills, rather than being totally level-based, you know, that kinda thing.
Working on one of my game ideas - want to start work on another. I always thought a GTA or Need For Speed set in the 50s, 60s, or 70s would be pretty neat. There was a great game for DOS called Street Rod (there is also a Street Rod 2) where you started out with some cash, bought a junker and built it up by drag racing or street racing. I always thought an updated version of that would be awesome. And I always wanted a realistic crime game. Like Grand Theft Auto sorta, but uber-realistic. Where you would have to avoid a face shot getting out and you would have to plan out crimes and such. Or maybe not even a crime game, but a virtual playground. Where it replicates the real world, but you can do whatever the fuck you want. Anti-gaming lawyers would have a field day with that one =P
I always thought that it would be fun to have a game set during the collapse of civilization(oil runs out, not enough food). It could be like a first person shooter and you'd have to survive the chaos and riots. Then factions would rise and you could pick one to join. I dunno, just any really unique setting would be cool. I'm just so sick of people making WWII games(unless someone manned up and let you play as the Germans...).
There needs to be a Shadowrun MMORPG! This needs to exist! I know licensing and other crap like have prevented it (though it didn't prevent the shitty xbox fps shadowrun game) but damn, it's the perfect universe for an mmorpg A game as nasty, perverted and player focused as Sociolotron but with GOOD graphics. Infact, if someone could fuse Second Life graphics with Socio mechanics, I'd be all over that game.
I'd dig on a Shadowrun MMORPG if done well....tabletop games were really built for MMO conversions, but some of the rulesets are.....complex enough only an organic mind could deal with them without some bizzare buffer overflow error...lol
