Tryptamines don't have great durations or visuals when compared to phenethylamines. Shrooms are VERY colorful however, but as far as complexity goes I would pick phenethylamines. Especially now that I've tried 2C-E.

i chose tryptamines, it boiled down to the fact the mushrooms and LSD are my main experience.
soon ill be down with some c's tho, so maybe my choice could change.

    I forgot about DMT.

I have yet to try DMT, but I do have some. Just waiting for the right time.....

I'm torn. I really am. I really love dmt and amt. But...

I also really love all the 2c-x's, especially 2c-d, since it's my absolute favorite. So I'm going to vote for the phenethylamines.

I'm not considering lsd in my decision in this poll, since it's technically an ergoline.

EDIT: I Completely forgot about mescaline! That totally tips the scale. Phenethylamines it is!

LSD bears the skeleton of both the phenethylamines AND the tryptamines.
As ptp pointed out it is an ergoloid, which should be considered it's own category.

really? thats new to me... actually it makes sense cuz lsd is actually the only feel good euphoric tryptamine... plus lsd is speedy compared to psilocybin for an example... when u trip on acid theres some sort of empathy felt which is similar to mdma n mescaline... LSD is the king of psychedilics! not the strongest but the most euphoric.

Shrooms have always been very euphoric for me, and also very empathogenic, even moreso than LSD. My three favorite psychedelics so far are shrooms, LSD, and 2ce, in that order. I only wish shroom trips would last as long as acid trips and 2ce trips.

I feel in instant love with shrooms when I first used them, but subsequent uses they lost their magic and the amazing headfuck and the euphoria. Weird, and very sad.

That is definitely sad. Maybe you've been getting shrooms that were dried improperly.

i hate shrooms with a passion... hippy flippin (mdma+shrooms) was one hell of a ride though, loved it. dunno but to me it seems that after lsd was invented other plant psychedlics became useless, n all RCs r just wannabes lol... dunno but why ingest huge amounts of funghi, cacti and plants when u can take a tiny amount of a liquid which is much more potent yet smoother at the same time.

Different psychedelics have unique qualities that make them each perfect for the right situation. There is a time and a place for each psychedelic. I find shrooms to be more natural/organic feeling, and they are the best for the introspective and spiritual trips, imo. Shrooms produce a unique sense of depth that doesn't seem to be quite as pronounced with LSD.

i feel that lsd is better suited for spiritual purposes but that just my opinion... i hate the nausea and repulsive taste of shrooms that stays with u the whole trip, i feel that shrooms are violent, its an evil funghi but again thats just me. when im trippin on shrooms i feel trapped, on acid i feel free... plus i hate the buddhist chants i always hear while im on shrooms, theres this fucked up ringing that stays in my ear...

To whoever said LSD was the only feel good, euphoric tryptamine, that is simply not true. 5-meo-mipt is much more euphoric than LSD, it is also pretty stimulating and there are others too.

    i totally i agree.
mushrooms are the only 'delic that make me anti-social as well.
it isn't a bad thing, but shrooms really make me focus on myself, things like tv and the computer aggravate me whilst tripping on mushrooms.
