Long ass fucking trip

The last time I took acid I took only 2 hits but my trip lasted at least 15 hours. I took it at around 8:00pm and I had a doctors appointment at 8:00am the next morning, and I was still tripping there. It was pretty scary, and at that point I wish it would have just ended.

My friend took 6 hits and said he had a 26 hour trip. This same guy is working up to 10 hits which should be at least a 2 day trip.

So what's the longest trip you've guys had?

i took two liquid drops about 2 weeks ago and i tripped pretty hard for over 24 hours...
peoples faces were crazy the next day although they werent the day before when i was tripping...

I pretty much feel like I trip for a full week after tripping. it doesn't seem to depend entirely on the dose. for me, it's a factor of trip quality and dose. the more love-infused my trip is, the longer it lasts, even with two d's. but when I had 700 mics, it was like an 18 hour peak, and the rest of the week was the comedown period

 

yeah you most likely got an RC.

 

just because you guys couldn't trip that long without it being an RC doesn't mean other people can't. It has more to do with your tripping skills than what exactly you took. A person that is balanced enough doesn't ever come off his trip, and there are some that are already there and lsd has no effect on them.

 

i have heard that it doesnt matter how many you take, you will trip for about 12 hours no matter what, and if not, then its not LSD. I thought the more u take, the more intense it is, and that it has nothing to do with the length, but if you take one, and then another 8 hours later, then the trip will last like 20 hours because its like 12 hours added or w/e. I always thought that you couldnt trip for that long with just one dosage...

 

2 weak hits had me tripping from 16 hours or so.

I only trip for the standard 12 hours or so but I haven't tried re-dosing during the trip yet...

But hey man, lucky for you. I mean I would love for my trips to last that long but they just haven't yet.

 

Well not everyone wants to trip longer than 12 hours. I didn't mean to imply that those who don't are shoddy trippers. I'm just saying that there's more to the nature of your trip than textbook responses from doses, setting, etc. There is a lot you can do to perpetuate the trip on your own, but I'm sure there's things you do during your trips that I can't or don't do during mine.

 

Are you guys talking about the physical effects of the trip lasting for more than 12 hours or so, or just the mindset and thoughts while tripping? Because i know that i have heard of LSD only lasting 12 hours or so, and if it lasts any longer, its something else entirely. SOoo, are you talking about the spiritual aspects, or the visual/physical effects, because i wouldnt want those to last 36 hours lol.. that would be rediculous....

 

There is a point 1000 micrograms I think it is, when you can not trip any harder just longer, so takeing more hits does equal a longer trip in some cases

Longest I have ever tripped was about 18 hours of a trip and a a week of "afterglow" feelings

 

both really. maybe not open-eye visuals but when I close my eyes even weeks after the trip I see stunning roller coasters of visuals. a lot of what we experience on acid has always been inside us and just needed to be released. what lingers isn't drug effects but output of your own soul that the trip helped unlock

 

okay, thanks for the info on that, unfocussedanakin, and burnabowl, it really sounds like you have a really deep spiritual connection with lsd or something, which i think is amazing, and i cant wait to understand that. Maybe it is both, i dono, but my only acid trip was retarded and didnt work, so I wouldnt know about it myself. hopefully, someday i will get to see what a true LSD trip is like and i hope its amazing..

yeah it's hard to say what the criteria are for more spiritual trips. I assume it has to do with what you expect and want to happen. You do get overwhelmed on acid, but if you want you can be overwhelmed by god. I had no idea there were spiritual aspects to lsd until I visited these forums and erowid.org

3 decent hits had me tripping 24+ hours. Although MDMA and PCP were also involved as well as a load of hash.

 

I read it and all, but i don't understand, how did it have no effect on him?
