yeah i gotcha. i didnt know i was pregnant. i quit smoking the second i got a positive test. its a very sensitive subject for me but i never would have done drugs or even smoked if i woulda known.. it was that time frame before i missed a period...

I'm waiting for Conan to come on, and I have really nothing better to do than give you my two cents, so here it is: I think you're comfortable, really comfortable, playing the victim. You get the attention you crave being the victim. I really doubt you have want to change your life, whether it be Dan or all the other sorts of fucked up things in your life. thats the answer trish.....right there girl. I dont know how it works there but here all in one little restraining orders you can do the following:

1. Keep him away from you, your work place, your vehicle, blah blah blah.
2. Kick him out of the house and you get the temporary custody and control of the house.
3. Most of the times, you can even get a temporary orders stating he has to pay the bills, including but not limited to, rent, pg&e, water, car payments etc.

Maybe this is the resolution of the whole problem. It would only be temporary and you would eventually have to go to court to have the judge decide but shit, it may give you enough time to get your shit together so you can leave.

 

Sorry but I think this attitude is complete bullshit. So her husband, who has been going to work and supporting his wife for years while she parties and gets all twisted on drugs, is somehow responsible for her mess when she decides she doesn't love him anymore?

Just to add ... if you are trying to get pregnant ... you need to get off drugs and alcohol first. That way if you are 2-3 weeks then you are not affecting your unborn child

 

Well I apologize if it came across as an attack on either of you, I meant it as a rant against that way of thinking.

I realize that yes, a lot of times the male is out establishing a career while the female is taking care of the house or whatever, which puts him at an advantage.

But I think the whole situation is abused by too many women and it makes me not even want to get married. If I ever found myself in that position I would probably WANT to still provide for her until she was ok since I would still love her, but being ordered to is a little different. Especially since so many girls are scandalous and only pretend to love the guy, but move onto a new one with no hesitation if he has something she wants more. It might sound bitter but thats the way the cards drop most of the time. I've seen it around me all my life. From friends gf's, to mine, to my own family.

I have a lot of respect for you lucky if you want to just go your separate ways with no drama.
