ok man, i buy weed for $10 (and thats in australian dollars so thats about, $20 or $15 american) a gram(i think thats 28th of an ounce in america) off this chick, she's the only person ive ever brought off so i dont really know other people's prices. It's sort of not really high quality but it's not bad. All the stoners i know say im getting ripped off but some say it's a good deal. Someone please tell me whats a good price for a gram(28 grams in an ounce) of mary jane, and whats a total ripp off?????????!!!!!!!!

 

ok. the basic price for 1 gram of weed is $5 bucks american. anything above that price is bullshit.

 

The exchange rate currently makes $10AUD equivalent to $7.25USD. And here we'd pay $10 a gram for average stuff. Then again, I don't know for how much a gram of average herb usually sells over in Aussieland.

 

Ah, yeah, I forget around here we pay more for our herb because dealer's are small-town jackasses. -_-

 

Hi. Firstly, $10 Australian is only about $7 American.

As for your question, it depends where you are. In adelaide, that's pretty standard - a baggie (~3g) for $25. In Melbourne, it's double the price. I used to pay $50 for 3 grams, or 7 grams for $100. Now I'm living in SA I pay $200 for an ounce Remember it's always cheaper to buy in bulk. In SA they measure in volume - how much fits into a bag. In Melbourne they weigh it precisely. Things are stingier in Melb because of the laws. In SA lots of people grow so it's cheap.

If it's a bud about an inch long, I'd say $10 would be a good deal. If it's under an inch long or not buds, then you're getting ripped off.

Sorry I don't know anything about the other states' prices. You could try asking the folks over at www.ozstoners.com ....

 

standard aussi price is 20 bucks a stick, which is a gram. if your friends say she ripped you off then i wanna know where you live!

I can usually get some good nugs for $15, some mids for $10, and some headies for $20, an 8th of nug is about $45

 

iv dealt with other prices... and id still never buy anything for 5$ a gram cheapest iv ever herd about and seen is 7$ a gram... i kno theres diferent places prices and kinds.. but 5$ is not enough to pay for anything so MAGICALLY.. therefore id suspect that it was mersh shwag.. and would take me ten bowls to get high
