we are still waiting for our order. i have no idea if it has even shipped yet. i spoke with heather on monday and was told it would be shipped tuesday. i paid for priority shipping so it should have reached me already. sigh

Greetings All and Heather with CGP,

I have been smoking for a few years now. I have been buying pipe after pipe and have not yet found the best one yet. I have like 25 - 30 pipes at this point. I have used evreyting from the bats and proto pipes to hookahs and I am willing to pay a good price, up to $100.00 or more but I don't want some four foot tall pipe. Just something nice and simple. I would prefer a water bong style again nothing to big, that smokes clean and will not waste the product. I don't need a lot of decoration and I like functonal.

I guess what I am looking for is a suggestion on the best pipe. I know everyone has their own preference. I would just like to smoke and enjoy. Can anyone make a suggestion or Heather. Happy hunting all.

Have you checked out the waterpipe selection at chunkyglasspipes yet?
They have everything from a $20 mini binger to a $120 2 ft reclining zong (talk about a couch potato!! lol), or a 2 footer with a treeperc!

If you get one with a perc remember that they can cause a lil backpressure (especially the multiple-dome perc design) which requires a bit of lung power to draw the smoke up the tube. Tree percs have less back pressure than the dome perc design.

Personally, I prefer the beaker style (ice catcher is a MUST!), but those 10 in torp tubes caught my eye too!! They look pretty sturdy, and a great value too!

But get whatever you you want man!

The only thing I wish they offered that they don't are replacement downstems with diffuser holes (unless i am missing something)

k i fINnally got it i like it its big it percs alot. and i wasnt sure what kinda stem it was but a glass on glass 4th perc was a nice touch.it did just take a very long time...thanks Chunky glass.i would order again but idk i can always drive to the smoke shop and come back with somthing its faster...

 

I got my 18" perc today as well! I like it a lot too...
I got the double bubble ash catcher to go along with it, but it is too big to fit in the female downstem of the 18in perc
I even added a note to my order saying to contact me if this exact situation arose... I thought they were both 14mm??
Is there some kind of adapter I could get to make it work?

1. are you still affiliated with northwest glass art ?

I would not recommend getting from chunky glass. I got finally got my order i ordered it July 31st and received it on Aug 14th and i paid 25 extra for rush shipping. Both glass water pipes were different than the ones i ordered the grinder was complete junk and the steam roller was completely different form the one i ordered. Also did not receive the 2 pipes i was told i was getting when i place an order of more than $50. Overall disappointed and will never recommend or order from this site again.
