    good
and you want them to move and untangle and retangle twisting inly got em started time and movement does the rest
if u dont remove the bands in just days they can be swallowed and start to rot inside thre dreads also once knots begin to foerm removing the bands will mean tearing apart some knots

    get them out
    give them time

let them do what they do..which may mean fallin apart alot b4 they tighten up
lets see somne pics of what she did
]of all she did was twist em some u might wannas replace bands with beads
if she twist nm ripped em to get em knotty then just remove bands wear tams and be patient

hmm well take out the bands wear a wool hat alot i dunno what she did but they will dread better if u leave em be they will most likely ploosedn up b4 they start to dread, i hope u doidnt pay to have that done
its a start, niot a particularly great 1but a start..
now just get the bands out and see what they do
dont be surprised if alotta that falsds apart thiough that will happen but they will dread slowly
if some of em stay sectioned and dont fall completely apart then your ogff to a good start

    u got screwed
take the bands out if u leave em in 3 months your screwed they will be rotting and melting inside your dreads

also..if u simply tie a knot in the end of a section of hair it will dread towards the roots so dreading from the roots 1st towards the tips is opposite of how dreads dread

stick a bead in the end and they will dread from there

160 ids insane maybe if u had hair to your waist its fair but your hairs short and shouldnt have taken long to do that lil hbit to it
u coiulda done better yourself for free
hell i could use 160 for nothin so pay me for tellin ya to just be patient and it'll dread on its own..lol

    Hey man :)
Looks like you got ripped off sorry :(
As I have now just realised, getting dreads is a journey and takes time, the quicker you rush them and get them looking good, the shorter they will last.
When you have just got them, dont wash them for a week or so, then just wash the scalp, just get some special shampoo or something that doesnt leave residues behind, but im sure soaring eagle will let you know which one as he is the guru here lol
Take the bands out, I never put bands in mine, I put cotton around two of the weaker ones and that has helped, dont untangle any of the hair :) just take out the bands, and leave it to its own devices ;) put the bead on over the top it will do what it needs to do, you can back comb it a bit although I have been told it should be a one time thing, doesnt stop me from getting maintenance done every 3 weeks which includes back combing at the roots and palm rolling.
Where a tam or beanie, preferably wool.
Good luck man, you will do fine.
    Peace of the grove /|\
    Alex

never done my hair any harm.over 13yrs growing my dreads.

oh man that sucks she seems to indeed have fucked you...

however if you want to you could ask a friend to back comb your hair. then atleast you got sectioning for the money you paid.

due to the length of your hair and the fact that she just pretty much just twisted it means that if you take the bands out most of it will probably untangle. meaning that youll go from twists to growing naturals. not that thats a bad thing im just telling you.

seems to me that putting a bead on each one seems kinda uncomfy:/ but if you do this then i suggest small beads as they wont be as annoying when you sleep, not to mention be as visible(trust me i have beads at many of my roots, and the bigger ones are not comfy to sleep on). also i would suggest beads the same colour as your hair.(that is if you dont want them all to show).
