Anyone else write poems about the joy of going barefoot? I mean, if poets write about such things as sunsets or chirping birds, then why not write poems about the wondrous joy that can be ours simply by living life barefoot? Peace, love, freedom...

    And now, a poem:

    "The Delicious Grass"
    Toetips green
    from barefoot steps
    in freshly mowed grass
    feels so good,
    feels like I could
    walk this way
    for miles and miles,
    soles and mouth smiling

'Soles and mouth smiling' Been there and felt it! A walk in the grass or along the shallows of a beach is about as close to heaven as most of us deserve to get. Thanks!
