I love music from all backgrounds, states of emotions, and all across time, but there is just something about the sound of psychedelic blues rock that hits me in that right spot....dunno how to explain it, but it just feels good to listen to it...in fact a lot of music from the 60s hit me in that right spot:D Its that sound, baby!!!!! Its all about that sound.......

For me it's the combination of the groovy beat of the bass and drums combined with rootsy blues sounds ànd the psychedelic sounds of electric organ and guitar and that it all still excellent fits together and even complete eachother.. unlike music from the other classic rock subgenre prog rock for instance, where it often sounds too difficult for me, or just misses that classic bluesy rhythm groove. :)

Anyone who likes Airplane and Quicksilver ought to dig It's a Beautiful Day as well. They only really made one great album, their first, but it's definitely worth checking out.
