I flew an airplane

A friend of mine, who happens to have a pilots license, called me up and told me to come to this small airport nearby. He rented a little 2 seater airplane, and took me up in the air for two hours. It was one of the COOLEST things I have ever done in my life. He let me fly it myself wherever I wanted to go, and taught me how to do several manouvours as we buzzed around at 5,000 feet. He even showed me how to land the motha fucka! I met the flight instructor at the airport, and signed up for lessons to get my own license. I'm addicted to the air already, and I can't wait to be able to fly on my own....

I wouldn't want to fly commercially.....it would take all the fun out of it. Maybe start my own little "airline" with my one plane. Flying small groups of people to wherever they wanna go. Other than that I wouldn't turn it into a job.

 

My husband flies. I don't care for it myself.

Yes I do want to by a plane later on. Although it would be much cheaper to built one.....which is what my buddy is doing that is teaching me

commercial pilots may not have as much fun in the air, but they sure make a hell of a lot of money

 

That is VERY cool! Ive never flown, I do have my boating license though haha

That's neato. I have several family members that fly planes, not commercially. They all got addicted. Be prepared to spend mucho dinero!

 

My beau is a pilot. Good luck to you, those lessons wont be cheap to get your licence.

Lots of famous people have died in home built plane crashes......

they should have stuck to music, politics, acting, whatever it was they did before they thought they could fly

 

I don't like planes at all.

 

I wanted to get a license....

never wear polarized lenses up in the air, g-15 all the way.

 

My friend was learning to fly a few years ago.

An acquaintance offered him $10,000 for a one way delivery.
