Sigur ros on a large dose of mdma or lsd is profoundly beautiful. Also trance on lsd, stuff like dj tiesto, Astral projection, bamboo forest and shit like that is amazing and intense. I second miles davis- bitches brew, Grateful dead, Black sabbath, Camel-mirage, Current 93-All the pretty little horses and black ships ate the sky,Paul Chain. Alot more i dont feel like mentioning.
I vote for Infected Mushroom at the top of the list with other goa/psytrance behind them. Also some really symphonic metal (but that is just me) like Tvangeste, Capitollium, or Limbonic Art.
