Man I don't see any point in worrying. I mean we'll never know for sure how much the government has lied to us about or how much they've hidden that we still don't know of. But in the end it doesn't matter cause my life keeps goin'. If we go to war with Iran we're killing thousands of people unjustly, far as I'm concerned

I disagree. I've seen very little to suggest Iran is provoking the US. Rather over and over again in the last three years I've seen the Bush administration and Israel implying that Iran is behind anything and everything that has happened to postpone their goals and agenda in the middle east, plus false hysteria about their motives for acquiring nuclear power.

Well I don't disagree about the waste of human life over in Iran, but the powe plant project should be shut down. Its time the US used cleaner means tomake energy.

Iranians are not the same soldiers as the US army crazy youngers who want to earn some money and get lost. They are trained to hold arm from young child. They are good people, disciplined and learned well about ethics. Probably their army is much more educated than US, I do not mean technician knowledge here but culture and tradition.

its not about getting US cleaner/ its about much more dangerous thing. Whey want invade this country in the future, so they are barking so whey will take this barking in the future as the proof and their right to attack.

Intelligent suspecting that Iran is breaking the law would ask to send people to watch their atomic activities. If Iran will dismiss such offer it will be a real proof of their intentions. MEA and ONZ is working in wrong stupid way. This organizations lost their ethics and ideals.

As if the US isn't provoking Iran by having such a massive presence in the Gulf, or by Cheney talking about staging an attack on US troops to blame on Iran. Or the US' constant sabre-rattling against Iran. You don't consider that provocation?

Iran can "provoke" the US all they want, but they have very limited means to do anything, and likely won't, unless they are attacked first.

I never said that the US wasn't provoking Iran, but thank you. I really should have played devil's advocate but I didn't want some people (mostly Americans who posted in this thread) to think that Iran is just some innocent country minding their own business, running free elections and having a legitimate leader with a functioning and free government.

I don't think Iran is an evil demon. I am concerned for the people of Iran and the leaders of the country being out of step with the people.

 

America has 4,075 active nukes yet we worry about their nuclear facilities (for power) and missiles that target ships =/ It seems pretty clear that this production is in response to America provoking Iran; it seems that they are preparing to defend themselves.

That's just it, son of peace, both America and Israel seem dead set in starting a war with Iran; It doesn't seem like they are interested in reaching for a common ground.

I really hope that I am wrong, though. Attacking Iran would cause a very dangerous domino effect. You can't just attack Iran and expect no retaliation...

I try to talk to people about issues just like this all the time and the response I always get is that they do not believe me because they did not see it on the news. The news sources they listen too are fox news, abc news, nbc news etc. . When I try to remind them that corporately funded news sources tend not to tell the whole truth, they shrug the thought of that off and tell me that the free press I read is fake.

As I walk away from the conversation in utter disbelief of peoples ignorance, I think I can here a faint BAAAAAAA come from the group.

That's not true pretty. They said that about closing just after Bush said that they will send ships to the bay. That was their reaction and Bush didn't send those ships.

Remember the news in newspaper when there was article that Mahmud Ahmadineżad said that Aushwitz didn't existed? That was west propaganda manipulation. In fact he said that 'if you don't think that palestinian camp is not a concentration camp then so Aushiwitz wasn't concentration camp either'. Small difference huh?
