What is so exciting about it?
I have never been to one.
    Will there be protests?

Its exciting because we get to see first hand what is going to be going on. there might be protests. Who knows, but at the very least it should be interesting to see how the political parties are represented.

yes there will be protesters from every position on the political spectrum, the uber conservative to the uber liberal and everywhere in between. It'll show case Denver to much of the world and bring in some heavy revenue for the state. it'll disrupt some downtown activities but won't prevent my lodo boozing.

I'll go there with a McCain shirt. hahah, I don't know why you people are so excited. The same bull shit keeps happening. We vote in another president who claims to want to save everyone but in the end the government system will keep chattering away with itself and NOTHING will ever get done. You stick to your false government, for you are one disgusting individual.

well good luck with your FBI test. and the DNC is in mid August, I cant remember the exact dates.
Im excited because this is a representation of a political system heading in the right direction. of course there are problems and evil people. that will never change. but by giving up, we not only allow, but pretty much buy into total domination because we offer no opposing force, and no one questions anything. at least we have somewhat of a chance to be heard.

Here's a giggle for you, Glenn who started Recreate 68 lives in Highlands Ranch!
I'm actually getting used to finding somewhat progressive folks here and there in HR, but this guy is a radical activist for sure.
He's put his balls on the line.

I'm planning on being out Aug 24 (I think, it is a sunday) on the West capitol steps for a anti-war rally. PM me if you want to meet.
I'll be the freak in tie dye (ha) but with a media pass.
    Some live music, too.
ALso RATM will perform at a DIFFERENT event.
I did not have time to get details, but a quick search can find all of that.
