I cant belive time passes so fast. So yeah 2 years exactly for me next month. I started them with backombing and sewing them. Ive never used wax. For the last couple of months the only thing i do is to rub them in my head after i take a shower while they are still wet. They plait really good and hard that way. When they were first made they were really thin, but they are getting fatter and fatter with growth. I have 2 congos.I wash them with whatever shampoo i find in the bath, i have never put any lotion on them well...thats all i guess. and again im sorry for the bad quality of those pix (shitty phone camera )
well when i started them my hair was almost down to my waist and i lost much, much lenght too. My dreads were to my shoulders and some of them even less.
well its not thin but its not that thick either. I belive it got thicker when i got the dreads, if thats even possible.
ya always look aamazin gaiya lost alot from crocheyying? they broke off? thats why i keep tellin ppl its not a great idea to poke joles in dreads... i keep lsin chunks ogff mine too but its from always gettinsg stepped oin run over and wrapped round axels nd its only the bottim 2 feet or less that break and thats only after alotta abuse green hope u stopped pokin holes imn yours ..but ya do look amazin ofcourse ...i cant believe its been 2 years already..it seems like just months
no, I wasn't very clear so I could see why you'd think I meant that. I meant that it seems people who crochet their dreads lose less length... but I'm just going by what I've seen in pictures because I don't know anyone in real life who got dreads via that method. So just speculating. Her dreads look crocheted to me so I just assumed... and damn girl! Your hair shrunk to your shoulders and grew that long in less than 2 years?!?!?!
