Which do you consider the better compliment?

I would rather be called cute before anything else. Cute is a cumulation of looks and personality. I think adorable and I think love.

I think beautiful is the better compliment cause it describes more about the person than just one item of a total package.

 

i like being called beautiful. because i have those peculiar looks that people either find ugly or beautiful. therefore i prefer beautiful.

Sexy, meh, I don't do sexy, not good at it... unless I'm probably making out with someone or about to have sex...me and the term sexy just don't go together...

Hot, same thing, I use "hot" when talking about really spicy food or the weather..

Beautiful, nah, not a fan of that.. Unless one uses it to describe my heart or soul (haha, yeah, that made me laugh just typing that cause that's never gonna happen)...

When I hear "cute" I think of innocent and just shiny and it can describe your actions as well... So I prefer it more...

 

I like when my boyfriend says I'm beautiful because usually that means he's looking at my face instead of when we're fooling around and he says that I'm sexy; not that I don't like being called sexy or anything.

Yeah, me too. He calls me cute, sexy and hot too, but when he tells me I'm beautiful it just feels different, he has a very gentle and loving tone in his voice and yeah.. it just makes me go all gooey inside, hahah.

Being called sexy is flattering, but it's so related to sex that it doesnt mean anything and I can only take it in a good way when it comes from my boyfriend, anybody else is creepy.
Hot to me is even worse than sexy, because to me being sexy can happen by just being you and natural, but hot I see it as putting a lot of effort in being sexy, if that makes any sense.
Beautiful I like. I always smile shyly when anybody calls me that, especially when it's after sharing a beautiful moment.
And cute is my favorite because like you girls said, it's a combo between looks and personality and Im very silly and childlike and funny,so cute I think it's the one that applies best to me.

 

i just thank them. what drives me crazy is when it's accompanied by a pinched cheek or pat ont he head.

 

I voted for cute, but in general I'm not very comfortable with these kinds of compliments, don't know why...

 

i am sick of hearing "beautiful" and "pretty". im not trying to sound arrogant, i dont hear it a lot, but even less often i hear "sexy". im 17 and i look like im 12 most of the time (round face, freckles, not much bewbage)

when someone tells me i look sexy or hot it makes me feel so much better than just pretty. it makes me feel my age.

 

I get 'quite cute' a lot, which makes me feel like people can't even call me plain cute. Found being called beautiful a little creepy now I think about it. I dunno, probably cute, I look about 14 so I don'd get much else.

And never off the internet.

my mom totally made me feel like an infant yesterday. i put an outgoing message, just my name, on my cell phone. i typically don't do it, because, apparently, i'm incapable of not sounding like a baby. so, my mom calls, she gets my outgoing mesage, and just DIES. her message was "AWWWWWWWW...that was so CUTE!!!" she imitates my voice, squeals, then cackles. i recorded that bitch THREE TIMES to try not to sound like a child, apparently i failed.

 

Your voice is precious. I love it. always have. It is indeed oart of your charm. Your mom is just good at gettin under your skin. Look at tit this way. You are in your 30's and people still think your very young.
And you talk about how unfair it is that I/we (men) age better. Pffft not buying it sweety.
