well everything thinks the other one is luckier than himself. I would have loved to live in the USA for some time, for example, and think it must be cool. just because it's different. it's like I always wanted to have straight hair and many ppl told me they had always dreamed of having curly hair... stupid example, I know.
Oh thank you. Same goes for you Not that you actually have much to see or do here. But just in case...
Lucky ? I dont know...If this was Switzerland we were talking about, then yes, I'd consider myself lucky...
Hahaha...Switzerland...maybe, that is if you were in the Alps...I stayed in Murren for a while, and spent some time in Burn and Interlocken. The Alps are definetely the place to be if in Switzerland. They seem to be very proficient at everything they do, and they've done a great job at staying out of wars for some time now (Hell all their bridges and tunnels are rigged to be blown up at the push of a button). You ever been to Switzerland? How about Burn...I found myself chilling around the bear pits into the wee hours of the night trying to meet as many people as I could. Oh and you're from Italy right?
Yes I especially like how they stayed neutral to Hitler, and allowed their banks to keep Nazi fortunes
Swiss Alpes are beautiful. I've been to Zermatt and it was breathtaking. No cars, just mountains and nature.... Umm....I'm Croatian. A Bosnian Croat actually.
Hahaha..well they've been doing shit like that for a long ass time....just look at all the mercenaries that came out of Switzerland during the medieval/renaissance period.
Really???? Interesting, my dad's mom is from the dalmatian coast, a mix of Serb and Croation. I associate more with the Serb side (can't wait to visit Belgrade), but the entire Balkan area is amazing (a lot like the North West where I live now actually). I was raised to think that Slobodan Milosevic was a hero.....(oh the 90's in the Balkans....some crazy shit)
Yeah, really. Well I was raised to think he was a monster. Yup. And I kinda think that. So how come you associate more with the Serb side ?
Honestly I don't really know....I suppose it's just because I've always liked their history more. But honestly my grandma and dad consider true Dalmation to be an entirely different race, not superior or anything along those lines, they just think real Dalmations are neither Bosnian, Serbian nor Croation. (Most are probably more Croation, but now their very mixed.) Either way I can't wait to visit eastern Europe, as I only got as far as Austria last time. What part of Croatia are you from?
Well I was born in Bosnia. Posavina, the northern part. Moved to Croatia when the war began. Been living here in Zagreb ever since. Oh but I go to Bosnia all the time. Its home, you know... Oh and yeah, Dalmatians are really something special Where are you now ?
Unfortunately I'm in the States, recovering from a second ACL surgery. But I'm a nomad and pretty much just travel from place to place as I see fit. I don't know if you've ever heard of Oregon, but it's a state in the North West area of the states. I'm a Cascadian though...we think or would like for the NW (Oregon, Washington, and BC area of Canada) to be a separate nation entitled the "Republic of Cascadia". It's a pretty chill area in general and more progressive , so although the federal government would never allow for it to happen (just look at the civil war) we will never stop fighting (at the moment peacefully) for our freedom and right to succeed.
Yup, heard of Oregon. Never heard of Cascadians though. Interesting...I guess you learn something new every day !
wow, I was away and watching Two of Us movie and you made this thread really long, fellas I'll read it and post some reply later, now it's 2 am and I must get some sleep.. Good Night.
